Wed Jun 10 201516:01Mosley signed one-year deal with Dolphins on Wednesday
Mosley signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Mosley will join forces with Ndamukong Suh for the third season in a row, but a training-camp battle with Earl Mitchell will likely determine Suh's running mate at defensive tackle. In 31 games between 2013 and 2014 with the Lions, Mosley racked up 42 tackles (29 solo), 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
Fri Jun 5 201511:23Mosley in negotiations to re-sign with Lions
Mosley is in negotiations to re-sign with the Lions, MLive.com reports.
With Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley both departing in the offseason, Detroit could use some help at defensive tackle, even after trading for Haloti Ngata. Mosley provided a strong presence against the run last season, and if he does re-sign with the Lions, he'll be the favorite to start alongside Ngata. Mosley played about half of the defensive snaps last season, finishing with 26 tackles (17 solo), 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
Mon Nov 3 201416:27Mosley reinstated from two-game team-imposed suspension Monday
Mosley was reinstated from his two-game team-imposed suspension Monday, the Detroit Free Press reports.
Mosley was sent home and suspended for two weeks on Oct. 25 for violating teams rules while the Lions were in London for their Week 8 game against the Falcons. Now allowed to re-join his teammates following their bye week, Mosley should see extended playing time at defensive tackle, since Nick Fairley (knee) is expected to miss the next month or so.

Mosley has been suspended for two weeks for conduct detrimental and a violation of team rules, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
The 10th-year defensive tackle was sent home from London and placed on the Reserve/Suspended List, creating an opening on the roster for Jerome Couplin. Even with the two-week suspension, Mosely still looks like a lock to set a new career high in sacks, as he's just 0.5 off of his mark of three set during his rookie year.
Sun Sep 14 201418:58Mosley registered two sacks during Sunday's loss to Panthers
Mosley registered two sacks during Sunday's loss to the Panthers.
Mosley's pair of sacks Sunday give him a decent chance of topping his previous career-high of three sacks set back in his 2005 rookie season.
Wed Apr 3 201315:49Lions give DT C.J. Mosley two-year deal
Lions agreed to terms with DT C.J. Mosley, formerly of the Jaguars, on a two-year contract.
Mosley signs just two days after being released by the Jaguars. Mosley overtook Terrance Knighton on the depth chart last season, but was viewed as a poor fit for new coach Gus Bradley's system. A pure run-stopper, Mosley should see somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 snaps behind starting DTs Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley.

Mon Apr 1 201311:16Jaguars release DT C.J. Mosley
Jaguars released DT C.J. Mosley.
The move frees up $2.475 million in salary, but saves less than $500,000 versus the salary cap. Mosley was cut because the new Jaguars regime isn't high on his scheme fit under Gus Bradley; he wasn't a salary cap casualty. Mosley, 29, racked up 45 tackles and 2.5 sacks last season, playing for Mel Tucker. Tucker is now the defensive coordinator in Chicago.

Thu Aug 9 201209:42C.J. Mosley takes over for Knighton
Jaguars DT C.J. Mosley has passed Terrance Knighton on the depth chart.
Knighton missed three months after a nightclub brawl left him needing eye surgery. Mosley used that chance to seize the starting job and he hasn't looked back. Look for Knighton to rotate in behind Tyson Alualu and Mosley.

Mosley, 27, has extensive starting experience, mostly in the 3-4 defense of Cleveland. He's played in a 4-3 system like Jaguars', though not since 2006 when he was a backup with Minnesota. He'll play tackle in Jacksonville.
