Sanders caught nine passes on 12 targets for 111 yards Sunday against the Raiders.
After four straight games to start the season with fewer than 90 yards, Sanders finally broke the 100-yard mark, though he's failed to score in four of five games. The Broncos' offense has been struggling as a whole, though Sanders still gets enough targets to make him a solid option in most PPR formats. Up next is a trip to Cleveland before a Week 7 bye.

Sanders had three catches on six targets for 68 yards Sunday against the Vikings.
After catching 16 passes in his first two games, Sanders has only nine receptions in his last two, while his 15 targets over that span are just one more than he had in Week 3 alone. The Broncos' offensive line continues to struggle, which is forcing quarterback Peyton Manning to consistently work out of the pistol formation while throwing quickly before the rush gets to him. On the plus side, the Broncos next face the Raiders, whose cornerbacks have really struggled this season.

Sanders caught six passes for 87 yards on nine targets in Sunday's 24-12 win over the Lions.
Sanders made a brilliant catch for a 34-yard gain down the right sideline in the second half, but he was still outshined by Demaryius Thomas, who caught nine passes for 92 yards and a touchdown. Although the Denver passing game has been far less efficient than in recent seasons, Sanders and Thomas have still been able to get their stats, as the lack of a running game (or other receivers) has led to ample targets. If the Broncos were to supplement their elite defense with a functional running game, the targets might start to drop-off and the efficiency of years past wouldn't necessarily return.

Sanders caught eight passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns on 14 targets in Thursday's 31-24 win over the Chiefs.
Sanders and Demaryius Thomas unsurprisingly dominated Peyton Manning's attention, with the latter contributing eight catches for 114 yards on 14 targets. Sanders only put up 6.2 yards per target, as Manning made some inaccurate and ill-advised throws in the wideout's direction. Sanders has been the most impressive player for a disappointing Broncos offense through two games, with the team's struggles leading to a lot of short and intermediate throws in his direction. Despite the issues around them, Sanders and Thomas remain top options at their position heading into next Sunday's game in Detroit.

Sanders had eight catches on 12 targets for 65 yards Sunday against the Ravens, leading the team in all three categories.
Quarterback Peyton Manning threw 23 of his 40 pass attempts to Sanders and wideout Demaryius Thomas, a trend that's likely to continue throughout the season. Sanders had a career-season last year, his first in Denver, catching 101 passes on 141 targets for 1,404 yards and nine touchdowns, and he's fully expected to be heavily utilized again this season. Up next is a quick turnaround to face the Chiefs on Thursday.

Sanders (hamstring) will be used as a punt returner during the 2015 season, the Denver Post reports.
Of the Broncos' seven punt returns in the preseason, Sanders fielded three, but the unit as a whole managed just 1.7 yards per return. Previously, he handled one such return for 11 yards last season, while averaging 10.9 yards per return on 16 punts from 2010-12 with the Steelers. It's unclear if he'll merely spell top returner Omar Bolden or get a larger share of the reps. Nevertheless, Sanders should receive a significant amount of targets yet again as the primary receiver for Peyton Manning outside of Demaryius Thomas.

Sanders (hamstring) returned to practice Monday, the Denver Post reports.
Sanders has practiced just once since suffering the injury Aug. 6, but head coach Gary Kubiak indicated that he expected Sanders to return this week. He is unlikely to play in the Broncos' final preseason game, but he looks like he'll be fully healthy for the Week 1 opener against the Ravens.

Sanders (hamstring) will not play in Saturday's preseason game against the 49ers, ESPN's Jeff Legwold reports.
The Broncos hope Sanders will return to a full practice at some point during the upcoming week, but the only real priority is ensuring that he's fine for Week 1. Cody Latimer will fill in with the first-team offense Saturday night, and he may also get some work with the backups.

Coach Gary Kubiak relayed Thursday that Sanders (hamstring) could be a full participant at practice next week.
A return to practice in any capacity would be encouraging, but, if as the report suggests, Sanders practices fully, it would be of great comfort to fantasy owners considering the wideout on the heels of his 101-catch, 1,404-yard output in 2014, his first year with Denver.

Sanders (hamstring) is expected to return to practice this week, Troy Renck of the Denver Post reports.
Although he still isn't practicing Tuesday, Sanders seemingly has a shot to play in Saturday's preseason game against the 49ers. More important, he should have plenty of time to recover for a Week 1 contest against the Baltimore Ravens.

Sanders (hamstring) still hasn't returned to practice, the Denver Post reports.
Although he's missed a good chunk of training camp, Sanders is expected to be ready for Week 1. He may even have a shot to play in Saturday's preseason game against the 49ers.

Sanders (hamstring) is expected to miss a couple more days of practice, ESPN.com reports.
Sanders has been limited by a sore hamstring over the past couple weeks and consequently missed Denver's opening preseason game Friday. While his ailment is not expected to linger, the Broncos will still err on the side of caution to ensure Sanders is fully available for the regular season. With that in mind, the shifty wideout is slate to miss a few more practice sessions before he returns to the field.

Sanders (hamstring) did not play in Friday's preseason opener against the Seahawks.
Sanders dealt with a hamstring injury earlier in training camp but returned to practice last weekend. His absence from Friday's game carries no meaning, as the Broncos also held out Demaryius Thomas and Peyton Manning, both of whom are believed to be healthy. Sanders should get some snaps in the second and third preseason games.
Sun Aug 9 201511:35Sanders (hamstring) returned to practice on Sunday
Sanders (hamstring) returned to practice on Sunday, Mike Klis of 9 News in Denver reports.
It looks as if the injury was nothing serious for Sanders, as he has returned to the field just two days after the hamstring issue was reported.
Fri Aug 7 201511:38Sanders sitting out practice Friday due to hamstring issue
Sanders is sitting out practice Friday due to a hamstring issue, Mike Klis of 9 News in Denver reports.
The nature of the injury is unknown at this time, but it's likely nothing serious, as Sanders is present at practice and watching from the sidelines.

Sanders will work out of the slot in three-wide formations this season, the Broncos' official website reports.
Sanders spent a lot of time in the slot during his four-year stint in Pittsburgh, but he largely worked on the outside last season while producing easily the best stats of his career. Although the Broncos are expected to run the ball more often in 2015, Sanders could be primed for another big season, as the departures of Julius Thomas and Wes Welker leave less competition for targets. Cody Latimer will likely work on the outside in three-wide formations, with Sanders still getting most of the snaps in two-wide sets. It is worth noting that the Broncos may increase their use of two-tight end sets, after largely relying on three-wide formations the past three years.

Sanders caught 7-of-15 targets for 46 yards in Sunday's 24-13 loss to the Colts.
Sanders was the intended target on a number of ugly throws from Peyton Manning, but the Colts still deserve credit for solid coverage. While this wasn't the finish he expected, Sanders had a wildly successful 2014, easily setting personal bests for catches (101), receiving yards (1,404), touchdowns (nine) and targets (141). The move to Denver clearly helped, but this wasn't just a matter of Sanders joining a more prolific offense, as he truly looked like one of the NFL's better receivers. That being said, Sanders faces an uphill battle to match his 2014 stat line, after fading a bit late in the season. The issue wasn't his performance, but rather, Denver's transition to a more run-oriented offense. The change coincided with some shaky play from Peyton Manning, who is already the subject of retirement rumors. In the likely event that Manning decides to give it another shot, he might not be the same guy who tore up the league in 2012, 2013 and most of 2014. It's also possible that his ineffectiveness was related to an injury, and even a rapidly-declining Manning might still be one of the league's more prolific stat producers. Also, Julius Thomas and Demaryius Thomas are both free agents, though Demaryius is essentially a lock to be back with the Broncos. There are a lot of factors in play here, so we'll have to see how things shake out. The best-case scenario for Sanders' value would be Julius Thomas leaving and Manning staying.

Sanders (hip) had six catches on nine targets for 73 yards Sunday against the Raiders.
Sanders came into the game questionable due to the hip injury, but he still managed to catch six passes for the second game in a row. The Broncos earned a first-round playoff bye with Sunday's win, giving Sanders some extra time to heal before getting back on the field. His regular season ends with 101 catches on 141 targets for a career-high 1,404 yards and nine touchdowns. Sanders' previous season-high in yardage was 740, which he had last season with the Steelers.

Sanders entered the weekend listed as questionable, but he'll give it a go Sunday against an Oakland defense that has surrendered 28 passing TDs to date. Only four teams have surrendered more.
