After recording a sack in his last seven games dating back to last year, Watt failed bring down the quarterback on Sunday as he was double-teamed the majority of the game. He's arguably the best defensive player in the game and he'll likely see the double-team on a regular basis throughout 2015. Watt is still considered a top-end IDP at his position and should continue to produce at a high level, regardless of how many guys are trying to block him.

Watt recorded five tackles (four solo) and a sack in Sunday's Week 2 game against the Panthers.
Watt is off to another great start in 2015 with three sacks in the first two games. He's without a doubt the top option as a pass-rusher and he's one of the best IDP options in the league. He'll get a nice matchup at home in Week 3 against the Buccaneers.

It's actually more surprising these days if Watt doesn't have a sack in a game, and he was spectacular once again on Sunday in the opening loss to the Chiefs. He created havoc from start to finish and continues to be one of the top IDP players in the league.

Most of Watt's 2015 base salary will convert into a signing bonus, creating cap space for the Texans this season at the expense of cap space over the following few seasons. Watt should be in for another huge season, and he's a perpetual favorite for Defensive Player of the Year honors.

Watt has been named the AP 2014 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, NFL.com reports.
Watt caps off a historic season with the hardware to prove it, as the 25-year-old defensive end collected 20.5 sacks and five total touchdowns. The IDP star has now racked up 51.5 total sacks over the last three seasons combined, and led the league in 2014 with 50 quarterback hits. He's just the second player every to win the award twice in three seasons, and will almost certainly be the preseason favorite to do so again in 2015. Heading in to next season, Watt should be the No. 1 defensive player taken in fantasy drafts in nearly every format.

Watt was a unanimous selection to the first-team All-Pro squad, the Texans' official site reports. The defensive end finished the 2015 season with 20.5 sacks, an NFL-high 50 quarterback hits, 29 tackles for loss and five forced fumbles.
The All-Pro selection was a well-deserved honor for Watt, whose play in 2015 has generated consideration for MVP as well. In addition to his defensive acheivements, Watt scored five touchdowns. Three times as a tight end in goal-line situations and once each on an interception return and fumble return. He's the top IDP candidate in the league.

Watt turned in another spectacular game, as he was almost always at the right place at the right time. The touchdown came from a fumbled shotgun snap, and his final pass defense came on Houston's most important defensive play of the game. As expected, his thigh didn't appear to be an issue during Thursday's game.
