Todman rushed once for 11 yards in the Steelers' 43-18 win over the 49ers Sunday.

Todman's lone carry came on the final drive of the game before Michael Vick took a knee on three consecutive snaps. With Le'Veon Bell (suspension) returning to action next week, Todman's fantasy value decreases even further, if that is possible.

Todman, who had been released by the Panthers, has joined the Steelers, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

With Josh Harris having been cut, Todman gives the Steelers some added running back depth running back depth, with Le'Veon Bell suspended early on. Initially, he'll slot in behind both DeAngelo Williams and Dri Archer in the team's backfield pecking order.

Todman did not make the Panthers' 53-man roster.

With Todman no longer in the mix, the Panthers will roll with a running back corps comprised of Jonathan Stewart, Fozzy Whittaker, Cameron Artis-Payne and Brandon Wegher.

Todman gained 25 yards on five carries in Saturday's preseason game against the Dolphins.

Todman didn't get any touches until the second half, as he worked behind Jonathan Stewart, Fozzy Whittaker and Cameron Artis-Payne. Unless one of the aforementioned players suffers an injury before Week 1, Todman is unlikely to make the final roster.

The Panthers have signed Todman to a one-year deal.

Todman, who carried 32 times for 186 yards with a TD, to go along with 25 catches for 198 yards and a receiving score in 16 games for the Jags in 2014, will provide the Panthers with added running back depth behind starter Jonathan Stewart, while also giving the team another option in the return game.

Todman did not receive a restricted free agent tender from the Jaguars, ESPN's Michael DiRocco reports.

Todman will now become an unrestricted free agent, and while he shouldn't have much trouble finding a team that will let him compete for a roster spot, anything more than that might be pushing it. He's a home-run threat with decent receiving skills and plenty of experience returning kickoffs, so it won't be surprising if he survives final cuts, where he may ultimately land. Todman was unable to take advantage of a shaky running back situation in Jacksonville the past few years, but he might actually have some use to a team with a competent offensive line. There is some chance he'll simply re-sign with the Jaguars on a near-minimum contract.

Todman had seven carries for 52 rushing yards and five catches on six targets for 46 receiving yards and a touchdown during Sunday's loss to the Texans.

Todman finishes the season after finding the end zone in back-to-back games while leading the team in rushing yards in both contests. That being said, Denard Robinson is the likely starter next season, with Toby Gerhart a possible backup if the Jags decide to keep him around. Todman has shown signs of potential this season, but he's got a fairly limited ceiling, which is why he isn't likely to win the starting job in training camp next season.

Todman had five carries for 71 yards and a touchdown, adding two catches for five yards on three targets, in Thursday's 21-13 win over the Titans

Working behind Toby Gerhart, Todman played the vast majority of his snaps on passing downs for the first three quarters, before exploding in the final frame. He didn't get his first carry until there were less than 10 minutes remaining, but he promptly took it for a 62-yard touchdown. He then added four more carries in the final four minutes, after Gerhart exited early because of a rib contusion. While the injury doesn't sound especially serious, Todman is seemingly next in line to start, if Gerhart can't face the Texans in Week 17.

Todman had three carries for seven yards and one catch for 19 yards in Sunday's loss to Baltimore.

Even with Denard Robinson (foot) sidelined, Todman was unable to carve out a significant role and appears to be solidly behind Toby Gerhart and Storm Johnson in the pecking order heading into Week 16.

Todman may have a chance to see a slightly larger workload over the final three games of the season, the Florida Times-Union reports.

With Denard Robinson (foot) declared out for the season, offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch said the Jaguars will split the rushing workload among their three remaining backs. "It will be an opportunity for Storm to get back in the mix," Fisch said. "Toby's healthy and he'll continue to be in the mix, and Todman will be more into the mix than he's been this part of the season so far." While Todman's value receives a moderate boost, he's likely the third option behind Gerhart and Johnson and has not carried the ball more than three times in a game this season. From a fantasy perspective, it's best to avoid the Jacksonville rushing situation overall, if possible.

Todman (quad) is active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

With Denard Robinson running strong and Toby Gerhart available for short-yardage duty, there is not much work left for Todman, who has just six carries in his last four games. He'll have to fight for scraps again Sunday.

Serving as the third running back, Todman had only a minimal impact as Jacksonville rushed for just 64 total yards. Todman was target twice in the passing game and returned two kickoffs for 36 yards.

Todman was battling with second-year back Denard Robinson for the backup spot behind entrenched starter Toby Gerhart, and it appears the Jags will go with Robinson as the number two running back to open the season. In four preseason games, Todman rushed for 63 yards on 29 attempts with one touchdown. He also caught 12 passes for 107 yards.

Todman played deep into the fourth quarter of Thursday's preseason finale against the Falcons, finishing with 37 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries, and adding 45 yards on five receptions (six targets).

Denard Robinson, who got the starting nod over Todman, only played in the first half. While Todman seemingly entered the preseason with some cushion, Robinson may have passed him for the role of top backup to Toby Gerhart. Todman worked ahead of Robinson in the previous three preseason games, but Robinson had more success on the ground. Todman's Thursday night usage indicates that he may even be on the roster bubble, though he likely helped his odds, if that's the case. Hopefully, the Jaguars will provide some clarity on the situation before Week 1.

Todman gained three yards on five carries and 32 yards on three receptions in Friday's preseason game against the Lions.

Though he has done nothing with his carries this preseason, Todman was still used as the clear No. 2 running back in Friday's game. He'll likely hold that job heading into Week 1, but the Jaguars will have to re-evaluate if Todman's struggles continue. While quiet in Friday's game, Denard Robinson is having the better preseason. In addition to potentially facing a threat from Robinson, Todman is stuck working behind Toby Gerhart, who figures to handle both the goal-line carries and most of the third-down work. Thus, Todman is merely a handcuff in many leagues, and there's no guarantee that he'd see a starter's workload if Gerhart were to suffer an injury.
