Kelce (hernia) is probable for Sunday's game against Houston.
Offensive lineman notes are not often warranted as far as fantasy football concerns go, but this could be an important one. Kelce is one of the league's top centers and is uniquely valuable for the system the Eagles run, quietly making him one of the team's most irreplaceable players. His return is reassuring for the surging LeSean McCoy as the Eagles face off against J.J. Watt.

Wed Feb 26 201411:15Jason Kelce extension with Eagles coming soon
The Philadelphia Inquirer wouldn't be surprised if a contract extension for C Jason Kelce is announced soon.
Left tackle Jason Peters signed a four-year extension Wednesday, ensuring he won't hit the free agent market in 2015. Look for the Eagles to execute a similar path with Kelce. He's just 26 years old and coming off a breakout season that saw him grade out as PFF's No. 1 center.

Tue Jul 23 201310:01Jason Kelce medically cleared for camp
Eagles C Jason Kelce (knee) has been medically cleared for full participation at training camp.
Kelce tore his ACL during Week 2 last season, one of the first dominoes to fall in the Eagles' season to forget. He may be eased in and will wear braces on both of his knees, but his health does not appear to be an issue right now. Kelce is part of an offensive line that has a chance to make a major leap forward this season.

Tue Jun 4 201320:36Kelce, Mathis getting in 'some' minicamp reps
Eagles C Jason Kelce (knee surgery) and LG Evan Mathis (ankle surgery) are getting in "some" reps in minicamp.
Neither appears to be going full speed quite yet, but it's a good sign ahead of training camp. LT Jason Peters has also resumed practicing after missing time to attend to a personal matter. Slowly but surely, the Eagles are getting their injury-ravaged offensive line back to full health. That's a good thing for coach Chip Kelly, and an even better thing for Michael Vick.

Eagles C Jason Kelce (MCL tear, partial ACL tear) to be fully cleared in a month to a month and a half.
"Not all healed up yet," said Kelce, who is five months removed from surgery. "I'm probably about a month, month-and-a-half before I am cleared for football activity. I am full-go in the weight room, full-go in the training room. On the field is the last area where I still have to go full-go." Kelce appeared to be emerging as one of the NFL's best young centers before the injury.

Mon Feb 4 201314:31Jason Kelce cleared to resume running
Eagles C Jason Kelce (torn ACL) has been cleared to resume running.
Kelce is on pace in his rehab after going down in Week 2, and should be ready for the beginning of camp. It's possible he'll spend some time on the active/PUP list, but it would be very surprising if he opened the regular season on reserve/PUP. A svelte (for a center) 6-foot-3, 282 pounds, the third-year pro should help anchor new coach Chip Kelly's fast-paced attack in 2013.

Mon Oct 22 201214:47Jason Kelce had ACL surgery on Thursday
Eagles C Jason Kelce (injured reserve) underwent surgery Thursday, October 18 to repair his torn ACL and MCL.
Kelce was placed on injured reserve in mid-September after going down in Week 2. Because he tore both the MCL and ACL, doctors were forced to wait a month to perform the reconstruction so the swelling would subside. Kelce's loss has been a major factor in Philadelphia's offensive line woes. Their interior pass blocking has been pasted by defenses in the first six games.

Tue Sep 18 201211:25Eagles shut down C Jason Kelce for the season
Eagles placed C Jason Kelce (knee) on injured reserve, ending his season.
A Tuesday scope revealed that Kelce won't be able to contribute in 2012. It's a major loss for the Eagles, as they'll now have to roll with inexperienced Dallas Reynolds and fringe talent Steve Vallos at the pivot spot. They were already playing without All-Pro left tackle Jason Peters, who tore his Achilles' tendon during the offseason.

Mon Sep 17 201216:11Jason Kelce to have knee scoped Tuesday
Eagles C Jason Kelce will undergo arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday to determine the full extent of his Week 2 knee injury.
The scope is being called "minor" for now as the Eagles assess the damage to Kelce's ACL and MCL. The MCL is definitely fully torn. The team is hopeful Kelce's ACL was only partially torn. If it's determined that Kelce has fully torn the ACL, he'll require reconstructive surgery and be done for the year.

Sunday marked his first career NFL game.
