Tue Mar 10 201501:40Stocker re-signed with Buccaneers on Monday
Stocker re-signed with the Buccaneers on Monday, buccaneers.com reports.
Stocker agreed to a three-year deal to remain with the team that drafted him in the fourth round in 2011. Stocker has recorded 35 receptions for 298 yards and one touchdown in 45 career games with Tampa Bay. The 6-foot-5, 253-pound tight end is most valuable to the Buccaneers as a lead blocker and provides little value as a receiver, evidenced by the fact he caught just seven passes for 41 yards last season. Entering his fifth season, Stocker provides the team with depth behind starter Austin Seferian-Jenkins.
Sun Dec 7 201411:43Stocker (concussion) active for Sunday's matchup against Lions
Stocker (concussion) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Lions.
Stocker is one of the only healthy tight end options available with Austin Seferian-Jenkins (back) and Brandon Myers (calf) ruled out, though he's never been a major fantasy producer over his career. He's only been targeted five times this season, and has just one career touchdown back in 2012. Look for quarterback Josh McCown to lean on his receiving core more heavily when he has to move the chains.

Stocker (concussion) is probable for Sunday's game against Detroit.
Stocker will be available for Tampa Bay on Sunday, but at no point in his career has he produced, and he has just four catches for 29 yards in nine games this season.
Thu Dec 4 201419:38Stocker (concussion) practiced in full Thursday
Stocker (concussion) practiced in full Thursday, the Buccaneers' official site reports.
After receiving clearance from the league's protocol for head injuries Wednesday, Stocker was promptly a limited participant in drills, which he's already pushed to an unhinged showing. Meanwhile, fellow tight ends Austin Seferian-Jenkins (back) and Brandon Myers (calf) have been unable to practice this week, opening the door for Stocker to make his presence felt Sunday at Detroit.

Stocker received clearance from the league's concussion protocol to take part in practice Wednesday, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Stocker seems poised to miss only one game as a result of a concussion, which could bolster his meager output on the season (four receptions for 29 yards) if Austin Seferian-Jenkins (back) and Brandon Myers (calf) remain out of commission in Week 14.

Stocker (concussion) is inactive for Sunday's contest against the Bengals, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Stocker will join Brandon Myers (calf) and Austin Seferian-Jenkins (back) on the sideline, leaving D.J. Williams and Cameron Brate to tend to tight end in Week 13.

Stocker (concussion) is questionable for Sunday's game against Cincinnati.
Stocker, Austin Seferian-Jenkins (back) and Brandon Myers (calf) are all questionable, but ASJ at least practiced this week, so he has a decent chance to play. Stocker and Myers both missed all of the practices this week and therefore seem more likely to sit out.
Sun Nov 16 201411:40Stocker (hip) inactive for Sunday's game against Washington
Stocker (hip) is inactive for Sunday's game against Washington.
His absence shouldn't negatively affect Josh McCown's value this week. Among the Bucs' three tight ends, Stocker is a distant third in terms of involvement as a receiver. He has just three catches for 23 yards this season.
Fri Nov 14 201414:56Stocker (hip) questionable for Sunday's game against Washington
Stocker (hip) is questionable for Sunday's game against Washington.
Stocker practiced all week, so he ought to be available for Tampa Bay on Sunday. He's almost invisible in the offense, though, as he has just three catches on three targets in eight games.
Sun Nov 9 201411:56Stocker (hip) inactive for Sunday's matchup against Falcons
Stocker (hip) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Falcons.
With Stocker out of the mix, look for rookie Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Brandon Myers to assume tight end targets for Tampa Bay on Sunday afternoon.

Stocker converted his only target of Thursday's loss to the Falcons, recording one catch for eight yards.
Stocker has caught all three of his targets this season, tallying 23 yards across three games against the Panthers, Rams and Falcons.

Stocker caught one pass for eight yards in Sunday's loss to the Panthers.
Following the trade of Tim Wright to the Patriots, Stocker slots in as the Bucs' No. 3 TE behind Brandon Myers and Austin Seferian-Jenkins. It's an assignment that figures to yield sporadic fantasy production from Stocker.
Thu May 15 201409:38Luke Stocker likely expendable in Tampa
ESPN Bucs reporter Pat Yasinskas believes fourth-year TE Luke Stocker could be expendable after the team drafted Austin Seferian-Jenkins.
Stocker has been a total bust since being the 104th overall pick in the 2011 draft. He's reeled in just 28 passes for 257 yards and one touchdown across 32 career games. Stocker is now fourth on the depth chart, be hid ASJ, Brandon Myers, and Tim Wright. Stocker and Tom Crabtree are likely the odd men out at tight end.

Wed Apr 23 201417:02Luke Stocker sidelined at Bucs workouts
Bucs TE Luke Stocker is not participating in voluntary workouts this week due to an undisclosed ailment.
Stocker went on injured reserver with a hip injury in late September, but it's unclear if the two situations are related. "That's hurting guys like him," said coach Lovie Smith about Stocker not taking part this week. The fourth-year tight end has just one year left on his rookie deal and won't be handed anything.

Mon Sep 23 201316:21Bucs place Luke Stocker on IR
Buccaneers placed TE Luke Stocker (hip) on injured reserve, ending his season.
A 2011 fourth-round pick, Stocker has been a huge disappointment for a Tampa Bay organization that once envisioned him as a future starter and Jason Witten type. Stocker was completely ineffective in the two games he played this season. Stocker is signed cheaply for 2014, but may have to compete just to keep his roster spot. He's a No. 2- or No. 3-caliber NFL tight end.

Mon Aug 5 201312:34Luke Stocker comes off active/PUP
Bucs activated TE Luke Stocker (calf) from active/PUP.
Stocker is expected to be the Bucs' starting tight end, focusing on blocking. "He's not ready to go, but he was taken off PUP because he was going to do some things with pads on, which is the rule," coach Greg Schiano said. "He's moving in the right direction."

Fri Aug 2 201313:07Bucs list Stocker as starting tight end
The Bucs released their first unofficial depth chart and listed Luke Stocker as the starting tight end.
As expected. Stocker has the most talent of the Bucs' shallow stable of tight ends that also includes Tom Crabtree, Zach Miller, Danny Noble, and Nate Byham. Stocker has been missing early camp practices due to injury, however, and isn't an intriguing fantasy prospect in redraft formats.

Mon Jul 15 201319:57Stocker penciled in as Bucs' starting TE
The Tampa Bay Times projects Luke Stocker as the Bucs' starting tight end but admits he'll face "serious competition."
Beat writer Stephen Holder is giving the nod to Stocker based on his experience in the offense and his draft position. Tom Crabtree will likely give Stocker his biggest challenge, but the Bucs reportedly internally believe both Danny Noble and Nate Byham have "legitimate upside." Even if Stocker wins the job, he isn't a very intiguing fantasy prospect in redraft leagues.

Wed May 1 201320:38Bucs 'have a lot of confidence' in Stocker
The Tampa Bay Times believes the Bucs have "a lot of confidence" in third-year TE Luke Stocker.
Stocker, a fourth-round pick out of Tennessee, has just 28 catches for 257 yards and a touchdown across his first 30 career games. The 6-foot-5, 253-pound tight end ended the season on a high note with three catches for 50 yards in the Week 17 finale last season, and he is currently penciled in as the starter. Dallas Clark is a free agent, and he is not expected to be re-signed.

Thu Apr 4 201311:02Luke Stocker to start at TE for Tampa?
The Tampa Bay Times tentatively projects Luke Stocker as the Bucs' starting tight end.
The Bucs have not shown any inclination to bring back free agent Dallas Clark yet. That leaves them with Stocker and Tom Crabtree, two plodders that haven't put much more than blocking on tape throughout their careers. Perhaps the Bucs will add some speed to their tight end room via the draft.
