Parker agreed to a five-year, $30 million contract with Kansas City on Saturday, the Baltimore Sun reports.

Parker has cornerback-safety versatility, but safety appears to be his primary position for Kansas City. He finished the 2014 season with 94 tackles, one interception and one sack, so Parker will be on the DB2 radar in IDP formats.

Parker recorded nine tackles (eight solo) against the Cardinals on Sunday, including one for a loss.

Parker will remain a key contributor on defense now that Eric Berry has been lost for the season. He should continue to start for the Chiefs at safety, giving him the ability to contribute against the running game.

Parker and Cooper were Kansas City's starting corners during OTAs, with Sean Smith demoted to the second-team. Smith was recently arrested for DUI and is coming off a down year in 2013, grading out negatively in coverage by Pro Football Focus. At 6'0/206, Parker will likely be limited to outside corner in Bob Sutton's press-man scheme. Parker had two interceptions and a forced fumble despite playing under 100 defensive snaps last season.
