Tue May 20 201413:47Sowell, Fanaika running with 1st-team offense
Bradley Sowell and Paul Fanaika have been working with the first-team offense at right tackle and right guard, respectively, in the early parts of offseason workouts.
Sowell's competition will be Bobby Massie, while Fanaika will battle it out with Earl Watford this summer. Sowell pitched in at left tackle last season but was PFF's worst-rated tackle. Jared Veldheer was signed as a free agent to man the left side. Fanaika started all 16 games but was blown up both as a run and pass blocker.

Sun Feb 2 201411:28Bruce Arians isn't stressing left tackle spot
Coach Bruce Arians doesn't see left tackle as the Cardinals' "most glaring need."
Well, we do. And so does just about everyone else. "Bradley (Sowell) played OK, and he's going to get better with another year of strength and conditioning," Arians said. "It's not the most glaring need." Sowell appeared in 12 games at left tackle for the Cardinals and graded out as Pro Football Focus' worst tackle in 2013. Arizona is going to address the position either via free agency or the draft. Free agent Branden Albert has already been linked to the Cardinals.
