Seahawks OG J.R. Sweezy is lining up as the team's starting right guard at offseason workouts.
Sweezy, a college defensive tackle, started five games at right guard as a rookie last season, but he didn't fare all that well. Pro Football Focus credited him with giving up two sacks and ten hurries. 2011 first-rounder James Carpenter (knee, head) was expected to be ready to go in March, so it's unclear if the Seahawks project him to be a starter in 2013. Paul McQuistan is the other starting guard.

Seahawks seventh-round pick J.R. Sweezy continues to work as the team's starting right guard.
A defensive tackle at N.C. State, Sweezy was initially considered a long-term project. Thanks to projected starter John Moffitt's elbow surgery, however, Sweezy stepped into the starting lineup and hasn't looked back. Moffitt has since returned to practice, but Sweezy continues to work with the starters.
