Eagles second-year OT Dennis Kelly will miss the remainder of the preseason after undergoing back surgery. |
The wave of injuries along the Eagles' offensive line forced Kelly into 10 starts as a rookie, but he was highly ineffective. With the Birds much healthier - for now - and Lane Johnson in the fold, Kelly will be a pure reserve once he gets off the shelf. |

Eagles RT Dennis Kelly is working with the first-team offense during offseason workouts. |
Kelly made 10 starts due to injuries to the Eagles' offensive line last season, but struggled to play above replacement-level. With fourth-overall pick Lane Johnson fully expected to be the Week 1 starter, Kelly has been getting the majority of playing time at left tackle with Jason Peters not attending OTAs. |
