Brooks is expected to start at cornerback Sunday at New England with Stephon Gilmore ruled out due to a concussion, BuffaloBills.com reports.
Brooks saw extended action last week when Gilmore was injured and logged eight tackles. While that's a tough number to replicate for a corner, Bill Belichick isn't exactly known for taking it easy on inexperienced defensive backs, so we wouldn't be surprised to see Brooks tally a handful more since he'll be on the field for most of the defensive side of the game.

Brooks (neck) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots, ESPN.com reports.
With six tackles in five games to date, Brooks' status is of more import to the Bills' depth at cornerback than it is to fantasy owners.
Wed Oct 8 201413:26Brooks able to return to practice Wednesday
Brooks, who was carted off the field during Week 5 with a neck injury, was able to return to practice Wednesday, according to ESPN's Mike Rodak.
The news has certainly gotten better and better for Brooks following a scary incident where he was flipped over on a play and landed on his head. He's simply a depth guy for the Bills, but it's great news that it looks like he'll be able to continue his career following something that could have been a lot worse.
Mon Oct 6 201416:26Brooks discharged and able to return to Buffalo
Brooks, who suffered a scary neck injury during Sunday's win in Detroit and was taken to a local hospital, has been discharged and is able to return to Buffalo.
Things brightened up a bit when Brooks - a depth cornerback for the Bills - was able to wave to the crowd as he was carted away, but it was a frightening injury that had both sidelines quite concerned. We'll likely know more about Brooks' recovery plan later in the week.
Mon Sep 9 201314:20Ron Brooks (foot surgery) out indefinitely
Bills CB Ron Brooks needs foot surgery and is out indefinitely.
With Stephon Gilmore (wrist surgery) also out for at least the next month, the Bills are awfully thin at cornerback. Brooks worked as Buffalo's dime back in Week 1. The Bills are currently not planning to place Brooks on I.R.

Mon Sep 9 201312:24Ron Brooks spotted on crutches
Bills CB Ron Brooks was spotted on crutches Monday.
Brooks played just 10 snaps in Week 1 as UDFA Nickell Robey came on as a nickel corner. It's a concern for a Bills' secondary that was already without both Jairus Byrd and Stephon Gilmore.

Sat Oct 6 201210:39Bills CB Ron Brooks making good progress
Bills CB Ron Brooks (foot) is making good progress as his broken foot is healed and he's begun workouts on his own.
Brooks was placed on injured reserve at the start of the season and designated as the player to return to the active roster. He isn't eligible to return to practice with the team until six weeks have elapsed, which would be October 17th, and can't be added to the active roster for a game until October 31st, making the Bills' Week 9 game in Houston the first game he'd be eligible to dress and play.

Tue Sep 4 201216:11Bills CB Brooks designated for return
Bills assigned the "designated for return" tag to CB Ron Brooks (foot surgery) on injured reserve.
Players designated for return are like those on the reserve/PUP list in that they must sit out at least six weeks. Brooks, a fourth-round rookie, was expected to be sidelined at least that long after undergoing foot surgery in late August.
