Devin Street has been nursing an ankle injury, and Jenkins has been the player to take advantage of the added reps. Lucky Whitehead is likely still the slight favorite to win the No. 5 receiver job due to his ability as a kick returner, but Jenkins could be doing enough late in camp to get picked up by another team if he does get cut by the Cowboys.

A surprising first-round selection by the 49ers in 2012, Jenkins never panned out in San Francisco or Kansas City, despite playing for teams that were far from loaded at his position.
