McManus was 3-for-3 on his field goal attempts, connecting from 33 twice and 39 yards, while hitting both of his extra points Sunday against the Vikings.
McManus is a perfect 9-for-9 this season on field goals and 10-for-10 on extra points. The Broncos' offense hasn't been as prolific this season as most of last, but it's still good enough for McManus to continue to be a solid fantasy kicking option.

McManus connected on all four of his field goal attempts, which came from 57, 56, 44 and 33 yards, and his lone PAT on Sunday against the Ravens.
McManus had only one 50-yard attempt last season, which he missed, but the new coaching staff trusted him to nail the two long ones in the thin Denver air. The Broncos' offense failed to score a touchdown Sunday, which isn't a regular occurrence since Peyton Manning became the starting quarterback, so while McManus may not get a heavy amount of field goals, he's clearly been trusted with longer attempts at home, something that can pay extra dividends in some fantasy formats.

Both Troy Renck of the Denver Post and Mike Klis of 9News noted that McManus looked sharp during Wednesday's practice.
With the Broncos having released Connor Barth on Wednesday morning, McManus is now the team's only placekicker and assuming he avoids injury, he is now on track to handle the team's field goal duties to start the coming season.

McManus effectively won the starting role in Denver after the Broncos released Connor Barth on Wednesday.
McManus actually lost the role of starter to Barth in Week 13 of last season and consequentially Barth was the projected starter coming into the new campaign. However, their battle throughout the preseason tilted in favor of McManus and he'll now try to improve on his lowly 69 percent conversion rate after 13 attempts in 2014.
Sat Dec 6 201414:19McManus signed with Denver on Saturday
McManus signed with Denver on Saturday, the Denver Post reports.
McManus was signed to be a kickoff specialist, so Connor Barth will remain the field goal and PAT kicker for the Broncos.
Tue Nov 25 201415:34McManus waived by Broncos on Tuesday
McManus was waived by the Broncos on Tuesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
McManus hasn't gotten nearly the number of opportunities that Matt Prater got last season, but he also hasn't been nearly as accurate, hitting only nine of 13 field goals on the season. The Broncos are expected to sign Connor Barth to replace McManus.

With McManus having hit just nine of 13 field-goal attempts to date, the Broncos plan to work out kickers this week, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
With 68 points through 11 games in limited opportunities while kicking behind the Denver offense, McManus hasn't been a top fantasy option, but his accuracy is evidently enough of a concern for the team to consider a kicking change.

McManus went 1-for-2 on field goal attempts, connecting from 38 yards but missing from 33 by hitting the right upright, while going 4-for-4 on PATs during Sunday's win over the Dolphins.
McManus has had limited field goal opportunities this season, with just three games with at least two tries, but he hasn't been terribly accurate, which makes him a fairly unreliable fantasy option. He's now just 9-of-12 on the season, with zero made field goals beyond 50 yards.

McManus did not attempt a field goal and connected on his only PAT attempt during Sunday's 22-7 loss to the Rams.
The Broncos had two opportunities to allow McManus to try field goals over 50 yards, but they decided to keep him off the field for both. That's now four times in the last five games that McManus has failed to make a field goal, and he is only 8-for-11 on the season. The Broncos will face off against a tough Dolphins defense in Week 12, but with the way this season is going, it's tough to expect a breakout from McManus.

McManus (groin) hit both of his field goal attempts and all five of his PATs during Sunday's 41-17 win over the Raiders.
McManus attempted multiple field goals for just the second time this season, though it's the fourth time he's had at least five PATs. With the way the Broncos' offense has played this season, McManus doesn't figure to get a ton of attempts given their success in the red zone.

McManus (groin) missed his lone field goal attempt, a 41-yarder that hit the right upright, but went 3-for-3 on PATs in Sunday's 43-21 loss to the Patriots.
McManus continues to pile up the PATs, as he's now 31-of-31 on the season, but he has attempted just two field goals in the last three games and he missed them both. The Broncos' offense has been effective at finishing off drives once they get into field goal range, which has obviously limited McManus' opportunities, but he's going to have to start hitting the few kicks he gets to start making any kind of fantasy impact.

McManus (groin) is listed as active for Thursday's game against the Chargers.
Through six games to date, McManus has attempted just seven field goals (making six of them), thanks to the overall efficiency of the Broncos' offense.

McManus (groin) practiced fully Wednesday and is listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Chargers, the Broncos' official site reports.
McManus will be out there if you need him Thursday, but through six games to date, he has attempted just seven field goals (making six), courtesy of the Broncos' efficient offense.
Tue Oct 21 201418:49McManus (groin) did not practice Tuesday
McManus (groin) did not practice Tuesday.
McManus missed a second straight day of practice due to the groin injury, but coach John Fox downplayed the issue, telling Troy Renck of the Denver Post that it's something the rookie kicker has been dealing with all year. Moreover, Fox said the Broncos don't need to bring in another kicker, so it doesn't sound like McManus is in serious danger of missing Thursday's game against San Diego.
Mon Oct 20 201417:31McManus (strained right groin) did not practice Monday
McManus (strained right groin) did not practice Monday, Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports.
We'll track his status in advance of Thursday's game against the Chargers, but as long as the Broncos don't sign another kicker, we'll operate under the assumption that McManus will continue to kick for the team in Week 8.

McManus did not receive a single field goal opportunity, but he went 6-for-6 on PATs during Sunday's win over the 49ers.
The Denver offense has been absolutely unstoppable this season, and McManus has attempted multiple field goals just once this season. While his 23-for-23 success on PATs is nice, he needs to start kicking more field goals to be more valuable in fantasy leagues.

McManus connected on his lone field-goal attempt, a 30-yarder in the third quarter, and all four PATs in Sunday's 31-17 win over the Jets.
Despite kicking on a team with a high-powered offense, McManus' field goal attempts have not been plentiful, as Sunday's outing was the fourth time in five games that he's had only one field goal attempt. He is now 6-of-7 on field goal attempts this season, with his one miss coming from 53 yards, and he's a solid 17-of-17 on PATs. McManus will kick in high-altitude Denver for the next two games against the 49ers and Chargers.
Sun Oct 12 201411:36McManus (groin) active for Sunday's game at New York
McManus (groin) is active for Sunday's game at New York.
The groin should not bother McManus as he was able to kick successfully last week with the same issue.

McManus (groin), in his first game since officially winning the starting job in Denver, went 2-of-3 on field goal attempts and 5-of-5 on PATs in Sunday's win over the Cardinals.
McManus connected from 44 and 41-yards, but missed on a 53-yarder in the third quarter, his first unsuccessful kick this season. His three attempts were his first this season beyond 30 yards and the first time he's attempted more than one in a game. With the way the Broncos move the ball, he should continue to get a decent number of opportunities, and possibly a fair number from longer range thanks to the high-altitude in Denver.
Sun Oct 5 201414:39McManus (groin) active for Sunday's contest against Cardinals
McManus (groin) is active for Sunday's contest against the Cardinals, Lindsey Jones of USA Today reports.
Following the release of Matt Prater, who had served three games of a four-game suspension, McManus is the unquestioned kicker in Denver. Per usual, the Peyton Manning-led Broncos are more often than not converting drives into touchdowns, though, affording McManus only three short field goal attempts in three outings.
