Saints agreed to terms with OLB Will Herring on a three-year contract.
Herring has made just seven starts in his first four NFL seasons, operating mostly as Seattle's fourth linebacker. He should enter a competition with Jonathan Casillas, Jo-Lonn Dunbar, and Martez Wilson at each of the outside spots. We'd avoid the Saints' linebackers in IDP leagues aside from MLB Jon Vilma.

Seahawks LB Will Herring is expected to play through a small fracture in his wrist this weekend.
Herring sustained the injury in last week's game. He's been sporting a cast this week. The injury has not limited him in practice, and he doesn't expect it to be a major concern on Sunday. Herring could end up starting on the weak side if Lofa Tatupu (concussion) doesn't gain clearance.
