Sun Sep 20 201512:35Gragg inactive for Sunday's game against Patriots
Gragg is inactive for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
That makes Gragg an inactive for the first two weeks, so as good a job as he did to make the team in training camp, he's clearly behind MarQueis Gray and even blocking back Matthew Mulligan in the quest for playing time behind starter Charles Clay.

Gragg caught four balls for 69 yards in Saturday's win over the Steelers, including a 27-yard score.
Gragg has come on strong the last few weeks and might be starting to pull away from MarQueis Gray, Matthew Mulligan, and Nick O'Leary in the battle for the No. 2 tight end spot behind Charles Clay.

Gragg led the Bills with 56 receiving yards on three catches in Thursday's preseason win over the Browns.
Gragg caught all three passes thrown his way, paving the way for a game-high 56 yards through the air. Thursday's performance continues what has reportedly been an impressive camp for Gragg, who is hoping to serve as Charles Clay's primary backup at tight end this season.
Mon Aug 10 201510:26Gragg coming on strong in battle for Bills' second tight end pos...
Gragg has been coming on strong in the battle for the Bills' second tight end position, The Buffalo News reports. Said the third-year tight end out of Arkansas, "We know that Clay is our No. 1 guy, but I feel like I can be that No. 2 guy. I had some good games last year. I had a little injury, some surgery in the offseason, but I feel back fully healthy. I know that I can do the things they want me to do and I can be the No. 2 for us."
The battle for the second spot behind Charles Clay is truly up for grabs. Offensive coordinator Greg Roman likes to use the tight end spot and usually looks for versatility. Gragg, MarQueis Gray, and rookie Nick O'Leary each offers a little bit of something, so the preseason should shake out a clearer pecking order.
Sun Dec 21 201415:28Gragg (knee) inactive for Sunday's game against Raiders
Gragg (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders.
With seven catches for 48 yards and a TD in 10 games to date, Gragg's absence is of more import to the Bills' depth at tight end than it is to fantasy owners.

Greg (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Oakland after practicing on a limited basis Friday.
Gragg would probably serve as the third or even fourth tight end and special teams guy if he is able to suit up, as the Bills seem pretty happy with newcomer MarQueis Gray as a backup to starter Scott Chandler.
Thu Dec 18 201415:03Gragg (knee) practiced in limited fashion Thursday
Gragg (knee) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, the Bills' official site reports.
Gragg, who last suited up on Nov. 24, also practiced Wednesday and thus has a chance to suit up Sunday against the Raiders, though his availability is of more import to the Bills' depth at tight end than it is to fantasy owners.
Mon Nov 24 201421:43Gragg left Monday's game against Jets with knee injury
Gragg left Monday's game against the Jets with a knee injury, and he will miss the remainder of the contest, ESPN's Mike Rodak reports.
That Gragg has been ruled out isn't necessarily meaningful, as the Bills have a huge lead in the fourth quarter. Gragg caught 2-of-3 targets for 11 yards in Monday's game, marking just his second multi-reception outing of the season.

Gragg caught the team's only touchdown pass in the Week 5 win over Detroit. It was his only catch and target on the day.
The Bills are starting to get some very modest production from their second-year tight end, who has seen the field for 22 percent of the offensive plays this season after seeing only four percent last season. He's nowhere close to fantasy value with Scott Chandler around, but Gragg does have decent receiving skills and is at least worth following should anything ever happen to Chandler.
Sun Sep 21 201412:11Gragg inactive for Sunday's game against Chargers
Gragg is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chargers, according to Joe Buscaglia of wgr550.com.
Gragg was actually on the field for more plays than starter Scott Chandler last week and had his first catch of the season on two targets, but with Lee Smith finally healthy, the Bills will roll with the better blocker to put behind Chandler for now.
Wed Jul 30 201421:31Gragg
Gragg, who missed several practices after ending up in the hospital last week to be treated for heat-related symptoms, returned to practice Wednesday, The Buffalo News reports.
Gragg didn't do much in his rookie season, catching only five balls in nine games, but with Scott Chandler and Tony Moeki both injured, he should get some first- and second-team looks in the coming days. Gragg currently sits fourth on the depth chart.
Fri Jun 13 201414:10Chris Grabb behind Chandler, Moeaki
Bills TE Chris Gragg is behind Scott Chandler and Tony Moeaki at OTAs.
He appears to be competing with Lee Smith for third-string duties. Gragg has mild Dynasty league appeal as a 4.50 speedster at 6-foot-3, 244. Chandler appears locked in as Buffalo's starter. Moeaki is the favorite for No. 2 work.

Sun Nov 17 201316:30Chris Gragg goes catch-less in Week 11 win
Bills TE Chris Gragg was held catch-less in Week 11 against the Jets.
A week after seeing six targets and scoring his first NFL touchdown, Gragg was a non-factor. He only has fantasy value in deeper Dynasty leagues.

Sun Nov 10 201316:51Chris Gragg goes 4-25-1 in loss to Pittsburgh
Bills TE Chris Gragg caught four passes for 25 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's Week 10 loss to Pittsburgh.
Gragg is an interesting size-speed specimen who could be a drain on Bills starting TE Scott Chandler's production the rest of the way. In fourth-quarter garbage time Sunday, Gragg hauled in a two-yard touchdown pass from E.J. Manuel. Gragg is more of a Dynasty than re-draft league fantasy prospect.
