Mon Oct 5 201516:19Gray
Gray, the team's No. 2 tight end, suffered a broken forearm during Sunday's loss to the Giants, WKBW.com reports.
It's undetermined at this time how much action Gray will miss, though it's worth noting Charles Clay is hogging up all the tight end targets in the Buffalo passing game. To date, Gray, Chris Gragg, and Matthew Mulligan have just one catch each though four games.
Thu Jul 9 201511:49Gray lining up as team's 2nd tight end during offseason work
Gray has been lining up as the team's No. 2 tight end during offseason work, The Buffalo News reports.
The Bills invested heavily in Charles Clay this offseason, so that's where the offense will work through when it comes to the tight end spot and the middle of the field. However, the athletic Gray - a former quarterback at Minnesota - has shown the team a thing or two since being picked up last year. Given this is a Greg Roman offense, Gray would at least be worth watching if anything ever happened to Clay.

Gray caught 2-of-2 targets for 71 yards in Sunday's win over the Browns.
Gray, who was with the Vikings for the first few months of the season, had one of his best games as a pro. He's a versatile TE, having played wideout in college, so he does have some athleticism. However, it remains to be seen if he'll continue to outproduce starter Scott Chandler, who had just three receptions for two yards Sunday.

Gray was claimed off waivers from Cleveland, ESPN 1500 am Twin Cities reports.
It's not clear how he'll fit in with the Vikings, but offensive coordinator Norv Turner worked with Gray in Cleveland, so he may find a role.
Sat Aug 30 201417:11MarQueis Gray: Released By Browns
Gray has been released by the Browns, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
A quarterback and wide receiver in college, Gray was competing for a roster spot in Cleveland as a tight end and fullback. He brings an interesting array of skills to the table, but doesn't seem to be particularly good at any one thing. If he draws interest from other teams, it will likely be as a reserve fullback/tight end. Last season, he got a few touches as a wildcat quarterback, but only caught two passes on nine targets.
Fri Aug 15 201411:27Gray (abdominal) full-go in Friday's practice
Gray (abdominal) was full-go in Friday's practice, and is likely to play Monday against the Redskins, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Gray had been dealing with a minor abdominal injury, but the fact he was back in action Friday bodes well for his chances of playing in Monday's exhibition contest. He could see action at both fullback and tight end, as the converted quarterback attempts to solidify his roster spot with the team. Gray may have the best chance of making the squad as a fullback, but he currently sits behind Ray Agnew on the depth chart.

Gray (abdomen) is currently behind Ray Agnew on the Browns' fullback depth chart, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
The versatile Gray had been converted tight end, but has now returned to getting reps at both positions. The Browns seem to view both the physical stature and determination of Agnew favorably, which is why he has been given the No. 1 job -- for now. Gray will continue to compete, but if he's unable to take back the starting gig, he risks not making the team, as the Browns have several tight end options above him on the depth chart.
Sat Jun 7 201414:49MarQueis Gray to see snaps at fullback
The Cleveland Plain Dealer expects MarQueis Gray to see "a fair amount of time" at fullback in 2014.
Gray saw limited snaps at fullback and tight end last year, so the Browns are hoping to get him more involved this season. Chris Ogbonnaya was the Browns' starting fullback in 2013, but doesn't have the skill set to handle lead block duties with Cleveland moving to a run-based offense. Gray should see time at fullback in two-back formations and compete for the No. 2 role behind Jordan Cameron.

Sun Dec 22 201318:23MarQueis Gray held without catch in loss
MarQueis Gray was held without a catch in Week 16 against the Jets.
Teaming up with Gary Barnidge to fill in for Jordan Cameron (concussion), Gray was targeted four times. Barnidge also saw four targets, turning them into two catches for 23 yards. Gray played a good amount of snaps but was no higher than the fourth or fifth option in a weak passing effort.

Thu Dec 19 201309:09MarQueis Gray looking to make most of chance
MarQueis Gray is expected to see a major bump in snaps if Jordan Cameron (concussion) sits out Sunday.
The Browns players and coaches are already talking like they won't have Cameron. Blocker Gary Barnidge is the likely starter and Gray will get some reps on passing downs as an athletic former college wideout and quarterback. It's a black hole for fantasy owners.

Tue May 14 201308:46Gray getting shot at the Delanie Walker role
49ers undrafted rookie MarQueis Gray is trying to learn the old Delanie Walker role.
Gray was a quarterback and wide receiver in college. Now the 6-foot-3, 240-pounder is being asked to do some in-line blocking, run some routes and carry the ball a little. "It's very hard," he said, "but you've just got to stay in the playbook and overcome adversity. ... "Blocking and terminology being up front with the big guys - that's the biggest part of being a tight end." Gray could use a year on the practice squad to get coached up.
