Goodwin (ribs) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Titans.
While the speedy Goodwin -- who practiced fully Friday -- has a solid chance to return this week, he's off the fantasy radar until his role in the Buffalo offense is established.

Goodwin (ribs) has been officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants.
The speedster will now be guaranteed to miss at least a quarter of the 2015 season. Goodwin appears to be getting closer to a return, but he missed a good opportunity this week with Sammy Watkins also being ruled out.
Fri Sep 25 201513:45Goodwin (ribs) ruled out for Sunday's game in Miami
Goodwin (ribs) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Miami.
Goodwin was injured in the preseason and hasn't played a regular season down yet. But he practiced enough this week that he'll be a possibility for Week 4 if the team chooses to use him as a fifth wideout and special teams guy.
Wed Sep 23 201517:34Goodwin limited at practice Wednesday
Goodwin was limited at practice Wednesday.
That's great news considering Goodwin hasn't been able to practice since the Bills' third preseason game. He's still behind Sammy Watkins, Percy Harvin, Robert Woods and potentially Chris Hogan on the Bills' depth chart, so it's unlikely he will provide fantasy owners much production even if he does play Sunday.

Goodwin (ribs) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Goodwin injured his ribs during the Bills' third preseason game and still hasn't been able to practice since. As a result, he'll miss Sunday's divisional contest, leaving Marcus Easley and Marcus Thigpen in contention for Buffalo's fifth receiver spot.

Goodwin (ribs) did not participate in practice Thursday after also missing Wednesday's practice.
The Bills are finally getting back to health at wide receiver, so they can simply use both Marcus Thigpen and Marcus Easley as depth receivers and special teams guys until Goodwin gets healthy.
Wed Sep 16 201515:21Goodwin (ribs) will not participate in practice Wednesday
Goodwin (ribs) will not participate in practice Wednesday, Chris Brown of Inside the Bills reports.
Goodwin suffered the rib injury in the Bills' third preseason game against the Steelers and hasn't been able to play since. His status for Week 2 is up in the air still, but more information should clarify his availability in the coming days.

Coach Rex Ryan said that Goodwin (ribs) won't play Sunday against the Colts, wgr550.com reports.
With Goodwin currently listed by the Bills as a third-stringer, his absence Sunday is of more import to the team's Week 1 wideout depth than it is to fantasy owners.
Sat Sep 5 201518:49Goodwin remains out of practice due to rib injury
Goodwin remains out of practice due to a rib injury, BuffaloBills.com reports.
Goodwin is one of seven receivers left on the roster, and with the top three being set, he's fighting with Chris Hogan, Marcus Easley, and Marcus Thigpen for the last two or three receiving spots.

Goodwin, who suffered a rib injury in Saturday's preseason game, was unable to practice Monday and coach Rex Ryan was unsure about his status, BuffaloBills.com reports. Said Ryan, "Goodwin seems to be the ribs, cracked ribs, two cracked ribs. It will be very up in the air if he'll be ready to go Week 1, I'm not sure about that."
Goodwin seemed to have the best shot at landing the last receiver spot, but the injury could put that in jeopardy. The Bills have a few unproven wideouts that have done some good things in camp, receivers that are bigger and more physical than Goodwin. We'll see.

Goodwin left Saturday's preseason game against the Steelers with an injury to his ribs, ESPN.com reports.
Goodwin was down on the ground for a few minutes after taking a big hit, then went to the locker room with the help of a trainer. The Bills are already dealing with a slew of injuries at wide receiver, but none of the others issues appears to be overly serious, leaving Goodwin as the likely No. 5 wideout to start the season, if he's available.

Goodwin returned to practice Tuesday after collapsing Monday due to a heat-related issue, BuffaloBills.com reports.
Goodwin should be fine for Thursday's preseason contest and the speedster can now go about his business in trying o secure one of the final receiver spots.

Goodwin collapsed at Monday's practice and had to be taken off the field due to what is being classified as heat-related issues, ESPN.com reports.
That's certainly a lot better than other issues that could have been related to a collapse, though anything of that nature at least bears watching. We'll check in later on Goodwin, a speedster looking to make the team as a fifth or sixth wideout.

Goodwin plans on competing in the long jump at the upcoming Pan American Games, The Buffalo News reports.
The competition takes place before the Bills get going in training camp, so he won't miss any football time. Still, Goodwin continues to dabble in track and field, seemingly giving himself an option should he get cut by the Bills this season. In the meantime, he could end up anywhere from the team's No. 4 receiver and a main kick return man to being out of football if the new coaching staff views him as the previous regime did.

Goodwin did not qualify for the IAAF World Championships in the long jump, the Associated Press reports.
The IAAF championships are scheduled for Aug. 22-30, but Goodwin narrowly missed out on a spot, which means he won't have any conflict with training camp and the preseason. He may need to compete for a roster spot, as Sammy Wakings, Percy Harvin, Robert Woods and Chris Hogan all appear to be ahead of Goodwin in the pecking order for targets.
Tue Jun 23 201510:50Goodwin will compete in long jump at U.S
Goodwin will compete in the long jump at the U.S. Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend, which may eventually present a conflict with training camp, WGR 500 reports.
If Goodwin finishes in the top three and meets the IAAF qualification mark of 8.10 meters, he'll be eligible for the World Championships in Beijing, scheduled for Aug. 22-30. Given that he could be on the roster bubble, Goodwin may have a tough decision to make. He's a better long jumper than football player, but from a financial perspective it probably makes sense to do whatever is necessary to stay on an NFL roster. Regardless of how this shakes out, Goodwin is highly unlikely to have a key role in the Buffalo offense this year.

Goodwin has made a good impression with his offseason work under new receivers coach Sanjay Lal, BuffaloBills.com.
This isn't the first time the speed demon has received praise from coach Rex Ryan or his coaching staff this offseason. While that should always be taken with a grain of salt, Goodwin, a third-round pick in the 2013 draft, has never really shown the football skills to match his world class speed. So there's still some potential upside if everything came around. At this point, we're probably just talking about him being a better bet to make the team, with guys like Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods, Percy Harvin, and Chris Hogan ahead of him.
Sun Nov 30 201411:42Goodwin active for Sunday's game against Browns
Goodwin is active for Sunday's game against the Browns.
Goodwin will receive the active status in favor of fellow receiver Mike Williams, who hasn't caught a pass since Week 5. Goodwin figures to work behind Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods and Chris Hogan in the passing attack, however, so he likely isn't a high-percentage fantasy option, especially considering the fact that he's been targeted just six times this season.
Mon Nov 24 201417:35Goodwin listed as inactive
Goodwin, who had been listed as probable for Monday's game against the Jets, is listed as inactive.
This might be a coach's choice instead of an injury, as the Bills have really struggled in the red zone and Mike Williams is a better option than Goodwin there.
