Before he was inactive last Sunday, Willson logged 45 percent (52 of 116) of the Seahawks' offensive snaps, but he gave way to Cooper Helfet as the No. 2 tight end in Week 3. Upon his return to active status Monday, Willson will again serve as a reserve TE to Jimmy Graham.

A late addition to the injury report, Willson missed Friday's practice. Even if he plays, he'll only be the No. 2 tight end, working behind Jimmy Graham. Willson has two catches for 36 yards on five targets through two games.

Seattle only attempted 21 passes, and Willson's lone appearance in the play log was a false start penalty in the second quarter. The invisible performance was somewhat surprising, but Willson didn't see more than six targets in any game this season, and he finished the year with just 40 targets. While a couple of strong games late in the season could lead to 2015 sleeper status, Willson may slide back to No. 2 on the depth chart, with Zach Miller (IR-ankle) hoping to return for next season. Miller entered 2014 as the starter.

Willson hauled in all four of his targets for 68 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's Divisional Round win over the Panthers.

While not the final dagger for Carolina -- that was Kam Chancellor's 90-yard interception return for a touchdown minutes later -- Willson's 25-yard score in the fourth quarter broke open what was a close game. The second-year tight end has now scored three times in his last three games, but he saw more than four targets just three times during the regular season.

Willson caught 3-of-3 targets for 139 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 35-6 win over the Cardinals.

With the Seahawks at their own 20-yard line in the second quarter, Willson was left wide-open on a play-action pass, and he then high-stepped away from the only defender that caught up to him. He later caught a 20-yard touchdown on a seam route in the fourth quarter, just three plays after picking up 39 yards on another pass. Despite the highly impressive showing, Willson shouldn't be viewed as a high-upside option for Week 17 against the Rams, as he previously had season-high marks of four receptions, 51 yards and six targets.

Willson's teammate, Cooper Helfet, won't play Thursday against the 49ers, the Seattle Times reports.

Willson could see some added snaps in Week 13, but coming off a one-catch, 21-yard effort this past Sunday against the Cardinals, he remains a hit-or-miss fantasy option.

Three other receivers had more targets than Willson, though he managed to finish with the second-most receiving yards (Jermaine Kearse, 54). Willson seems to be the upside play with Zach Miller (ankle) out for the season, though in an offense that plays off the rushing game, there isn't a ton of fantasy upside.

Willson will play, but head coach Pete Carroll said he plans to incorporate new tight end Tony Moeki into the game plan extensively this week. Willson was already a fringe contributor to Seattle's offense (his single-game high for receiving yards this season is 28), and the addition of Moeaki makes him even less likely to make a fantasy impact.

Although he's listed as questionable, it would probably be surprising if Willson didn't play. He practiced Thursday and Friday, with the Friday showing being a full practice. He's not an ideal fantasy target so long as he's rotating with Cooper Helfet, however.

The Seahawks' top two tight ends, Willson and Cooper Helfet (knee), experienced a bump in practice reps Thursday. With the duo seemingly on course for active status in Week 11, Zach Miller's (ankle) replacements should sustain low-end value among TE. On the season, Willson has mustered eight catches (on 20 targets) for 79 yards and one touchdown across nine games.

Willson is poised to handle tight end reps with Cooper Helfet (knee) following Zach Miller's (ankle) placement on injured reserve Wednesday. Because the duo is currently ailing, though, Tony Moeaki and recent pickup Rashaun Allen exist as the only healthy tight ends in Seattle. As the week draws to a close, expect some clarification regarding the potential TE pecking order for Sunday's game in Kansas City.

While he wasn't expected to have a big impact, Willson was putting up a donut until he caught a 23-yard touchdown pass with 23 seconds left in the game to put the Seahawks up for good. The touchdown was his first score of the season, and it's tough to see him as a breakout candidate, even against the Raiders in Week 9.

As long as Zach Miller (ankle) is out of commission, Willson is the clear TE of interest in the Seahawks ' offense. Prior to taking a seat last weekend in St. Louis, Willson totaled 10 targets in the previous two outings, with five catches for 39 yards to show for his efforts.
