Williams is listed as the starting nose tackle on the Ravens' first depth chart of the regular season.
Listed at 6-1, 335 pounds, the 2013 third-round draft pick is expected to start at the nose this season, with Haloti Ngata sliding over to the three-technique defensive tackle spot. While unlikely to make an IDP impact, Williams does seem to be fairly secure in his role, which should come with 20-40 snaps per game.

Williams is listed as the starter at nose tackle on the Ravens' initial depth chart, SB Nation's Jason Butt reports.
Williams, a 2013 third-round draft pick, is more likely than not to emerge with the starting job. It was previously unclear whether he'd be playing as a nose tackle or three-technique defensive tackle, but it now appears to be the former. That leaves Haloti Ngata as the likely starter at defensive tackle, while rookie second-rounder Timmy Jernigan (back) is without a clearly defined position. Williams has the size and strength to succeed as a nose tackle, but it's hard to imagine a format where he'd be worth a look as an IDP.
Fri Jun 6 201417:45Brandon Williams impressing at OTAs
Ravens coach John Harbaugh said second-year DT Brandon Williams has "looked really good" in OTAs.
"He's explosive, he's quick, but he's playing [with good] fundamentals," Harbaugh said. "The amount of muscle he's packed on that frame is pretty incredible." Williams is competing with Timmy Jernigan and Kapron Lewis-Moore for Arthur Jones' old role. At 6-1/335, he could also be an option at nose tackle, allowing Haloti Ngata to start opposite Chris Canty.

Sat Mar 22 201414:57Ravens to give Brandon Williams expanded role
ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley expects second-year NT Brandon Williams to get "significant playing time" this season.
Williams played just 93 defensive snaps as a rookie, but is a strong candidate for a starting role with Arthur Jones lost to free agency. The Ravens could move Haloti Ngata to left end, allowing Williams to play nose tackle. Even if he doesn't start, Williams is expected to play a big role in the defensive rotation.
