Joeckel is inactive Sunday against the Dolphins, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports.

Joeckel, the starting left tackler, will give way to his backup, Sam Young. His absence will provide a slight boost to the Miami defense.

Joeckel (ankle) will be a game-time decision Sunday, the Jaguars' official site reports.

Joeckel sustained an ankle injury in the season-opening loss to the Panthers. If he's unable to go, Sam Young will start at left tackle Week 2 against the Dolphins.
