Thu Apr 24 201421:51Justin Pugh adds 10 pounds of muscle
Giants RT Justin Pugh has added 10 pounds of muscle this offseason.
Pugh is also fully recovered from his thumb operation. "I feel very good," Pugh said. "I'm stronger than ever." Coming off a strong rookie season, Pugh could end up on Eli Manning's blindside depending on Will Beatty's (leg) health, but for now remains best penciled in at right tackle.

Tue Jan 21 201409:40Giants RT Pugh undergoes thumb surgery
Giants RT Justin Pugh underwent thumb surgery Monday.
Neither the Giants nor Pugh ever mentioned any injuries during the season, but Pugh tweeted on Monday that he had a procedure on the thumb. The 19th overall pick in last April's draft started all 16 games for the G-Men and is going to be a major piece of the 2014 offensive line. Pugh should be ready for camp.

Fri Jan 3 201414:29Giants want Pugh to bulk up this offseason
Giants coach Tom Coughlin wants RT Justin Pugh to add 10-12 pounds this offseason.
Pugh measured 6-foot-4 1/2, 307 at last February's Scouting Combine. After a rough beginning to his rookie year, Pugh righted the ship and performed far better down the stretch, particularly as a run blocker. Coughlin indicated the Giants could try Pugh at left tackle in 2014, where Will Beatty was a major 2013 disappointment and is now recovering from a fractured right leg.

Tue Aug 20 201311:49Giants plan to use Pugh at RT for now
A source tells FOX Sports that the Giants plan to insert Justin Pugh at right tackle and Kevin Boothe at center in place of David Baas (knee).
Baas sustained sprained his ACL on Sunday night and is out 2-4 weeks, sending the Giants' line into scramble mode. It looks like they'll kick David Diehl inside to guard, allowing Pugh to come in at the right tackle spot where he's been practicing. Saturday's preseason game against the Jets will be a good spot for Pugh to show he can handle gig.

Sun Aug 11 201316:15Justin Pugh cleared from concussion
Giants first-round OL Justin Pugh has been medically cleared from his concussion.
He'll resume pushing David Diehl at right tackle. The Giants have surprisingly not used Pugh at other positions despite his guard-like skills. He suffered the concussion ten days ago. Pugh's chances of starting seem slim.

Fri Aug 2 201315:42Justin Pugh suffers concussion
Giants first-round pick Justin Pugh is experiencing headaches after suffering a concussion in Thursday's training camp practice.
There's been talk in New York that Pugh might fail to land a starting job before Week 1, and the concussion makes that possibility increasingly likely. Look for David Diehl to keep his right tackle position, with Kevin Boothe at left guard. RG Chris Snee, C David Baas, and LT Will Beatty are the other starters.

Thu Jul 25 201312:17Justin Pugh gets his rookie deal done
Giants signed No. 19 overall pick G/T Justin Pugh to a four-year contract.
The Giants get their first-rounder under contract one day before camp opens. Pugh is expected to immediately compete with David Diehl for the starting right tackle job, but he can also help at guard and played left tackle at Syracuse, where he allowed just a half-sack of Ryan Nassib in 2012.
