Andrews carried the ball seven times for nine yards and a touchdown, and added three catches for 45 yards on four targets.
Andrews found pay dirt on a one-yard plunge for the team's only touchdown of the day in the third quarter, but was otherwise extremely quiet on the ground. The second-year running back also led the Titans in receiving yards, and seems to be the man to own in their committee due to his prominent roles at the goal line and as a receiver.

Andrews played a surprisingly prominent role against the Colts on Sunday, leading the Titans with 12 carries for 49 yards and a touchdown. He also added one reception for 12 yards on two targets.
Andrews was projected to do little more than spell Bishop Sankey and Dexter McCluster when they needed rest, but the second-year back ended up playing the lead role in his first appearance of the season. The Titans have been unhappy with their lack of rushing production thus far in 2015, so it's possible Andrews has propelled himself all the way to the top of the team's muddled running back depth chart, at least in the short term.

Andrews (hamstring) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Colts.
With Terrance West inactive Sunday, Andrews adds depth to the Titans' Week 3 backfield mix, behind Bishop Sankey and along with Dexter McCluster.

Andrews (hamstring) is considered probable for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Andrews has participated in some capacity during practice throughout this week, which puts him in good standing to make his season debut on Sunday. If Andrews indeed suits up to face the Colts, he'll add another option to a Titans' ground game with Bishop Sankey, Terrance West and Dexter McCluster already in tow.

Andrews (hamstring) practiced in a limited fashion Wednesday.
Andrews, who has missed the Titans' last two games, could thus return to the mix as early as Sunday's game against the Colts, though a wait-and-see approach is order, with Bishop Sankey, Dexter McCluster and Terrance West also in the team's backfield corps.
Fri Sep 18 201518:09Andrews (hamstring) ruled out for Sunday's game against Browns
Andrews (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Browns, the Tennessean reports.
With Andrews still out, the Titans' Week 2 backfield will be headed by Bishop Sankey, Dexter McCluster and Terrance West.

Andrews (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.
As long as Bishop Sankey and Terrance West remain healthy, Andrews' path to carries in Titans' offense once he returns to the mix appears unclear.

Andrews (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.
Listed as questionable for the contest after he was a limited participant in practice Thursday and Friday, Andrews' 2015 debut will have to wait, as the Titans elect to sit him out while he's operating at less than 100 percent health. Even at full strength, Andrews ranks as the fourth option on the Titans' depth chart at running back, so it's quite likely he'll be inactive on multiple occasions this season.
Fri Sep 11 201515:48Andrews (hamstring) limited participant in Friday's practice
Andrews (hamstring) was a limited participant in Friday's practice.
Andrews' hamstring injury put his status for Sunday's season opener against the Buccaneers in question, but should he be cleared to play, Andrews figures to provide a depth option at running back behind the likes of Bishop Sankey, Dexter McCluster and Terrance West.
Thu Sep 10 201516:07Andrews (hamstring) limited at practice Thursday
Andrews (hamstring) was limited at practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports.
With rookie David Cobb on short-term IR, Andrews -- assuming his health -- is slated to play a key complementary role in the Tennessee backfield behind starter Bishop Sankey, with Dexter McCluster and Terrance West also available on that front.

Andrews gained 38 yards on 10 carries in Thursday's preseason win over the Titans.
According to ESPN's Paul Kuharsky, Andrews also threw a key block on a 59-yard touchdown reception by Harry Douglas, who was apparently very thankful afterward. With David Cobb (calf) in danger of missing Week 1, the 225-pound Andrews is the new favorite to spell Bishop Sankey in early-down situations, with the role possibly also including some short-yardage and goal-line work. Andrews could perhaps parlay his opportunity into a larger role as the season goes on, but it's also possible that he'll eventually be bullied out by Cobb.

Andrews scored Tennessee's lone touchdown on a two-yard carry in Friday's 34-10 loss to the Chiefs.
Andrews made his only touch of the night count, converting a touchdown late in the first half. He didn't see much action despite rookie running back David Cobb missing the game with a calf injury, but Andrews has played quite well in his limited role.

Andrews rushed five times for 24 yards and was not targeted in the passing game in Sunday's preseason win over the Rams.
Andrews didn't see the field until Bishop Sankey and rookie David Cobb were done for the day. Even though Cobb came into the game ahead of him in this one, Andrews hasn't played himself out of a possible role in Tenessee's backfield. Andrews will be worth monitoring next week, as his role compared to those of Sankey and Cobb should be more clearly defined by that point.

Andrews rushed four times for 13 yards and a touchdown, ran in a two-point conversion, and added 25 yards on two catches in Tennessee's preseason opener against the Falcons.
Andrews saw some action with the starting offense early in the second quarter, then took advantage of facing Atlanta's backups in the third quarter by finding paydirt from one yard out. The 23-year-old running back followed up his one-yard touchdown run with a rush for the two-point conversion, essentially making him 2-for-2 on carries by the goal line. Starter Bishop Sankey didn't do himself any favors with his performance in this game, and it's very possible Andrews could carve out a bigger piece of the rushing pie if he continues to impress the Titans coaching staff.
Wed Aug 12 201523:11Andrews impressive early on in camp
Andrews has been impressive early on in camp, and is putting himself in excellent position to make Tennessee's 53-man roster, the Titans' official site reports.
Andrews recorded two receptions and returned a few kickoffs as an undrafted rookie in 2014, but he's looking to earn a much larger piece of the pie at the running back position this year. The 224-pounder is still behind Bishop Sankey and David Cobb on the depth chart, but his ability to contribute on both offense and special teams could make him a valuable piece for the Titans in 2015.

Andrews is expected to compete with rookie David Cobb for Tennessee's backup running back job, The Tennessean reports.
Bishop Sankey has a stranglehold on the starter's job at the moment, but the 225-pound Andrews would become an immediate candidate for valuable goal-line work if he emerges as Sankey's backup. With Sankey coming off a mediocre rookie season and Dexter McCluster lacking the size to be an every-down back, there is a real opportunity for Andrews to carve out a large role in Tennessee's backfield as the season unfolds.

Andrews will be among the candidates to become Tennessee's kick returner this coming season, The Tennessean reports.
Andrews returned five kicks during his rookie season 2014, averaging 22 yards per attempt. The undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky returned 70 kicks for the Hilltoppers.
Wed Oct 22 201419:09The Titans have signed Andrews to their active roster
The Titans have signed Andrews to their active roster, the team's official site reports.
The Bills showed interest in signing Andrews off the Titans' practice squad, and rather than lose the running back, the team promoted him in advance of Sunday's game against the Texans. While Andrews isn't on the short-term fantasy radar, it appears as though the Titans have plans for him down the road, so he'll be a player to watch if injuries further deplete the Tennessee backfield.
Fri Aug 29 201415:23Andrews waived by Titans
Andrews has been waived by the Titans, John Glennon of the Tennessean reports.
The report notes that the Titans would like to add Andrews to their practice squad, but he'll need to clear waivers in order for that to transpire.
