Mack recorded four tackles (two solo) and two sacks in Sunday's Week 3 matchup against the Browns.
Mack earned his first two sacks of the season in the Raiders' 27-20 win over the Browns on Sunday. He was quiet in the first two games, but emerged in game number three as he created havoc in the Browns' backfield. Mack is a premier pass rusher and a solid IDP option that should hit double-digit sacks by season's end.

Mack, who's listed as an outside linebacker, will shift over to defensive end often to help out with the Raiders' pass rush, CSN Bay Area reports.
Mack's sack numbers and IDP value are likely to be on the rise now that he'll spend plenty of time at defensive end opposite Justin Tuck. "He's a dominant defensive player, so you want to let him do what he does best. We'll move him around and play him at different spots. That was the outlook for the defensive staff this offseason, was to put him in position to make plays," Raiders defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. said about Mack. The fifth-overall pick of the 2014 draft finished his rookie season last year with 76 tackles, four sacks, and one forced fumble in 16 games. The Raiders' coaching staff will give Mack more pass-rushing opportunities and less coverage situations throughout the 2015 season.

Mack recorded six tackles (four solo) in the Raiders' Week 8 loss to the Browns.
Although Mack is still searching for his first career sack, he is making his presence felt behind the line of scrimmage with 10 tackles for loss through seven games, six more than any other Raiders defender. The 23-year-old did lay a hit on Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer on Sunday, but his tackle numbers have been rather inconsistent, and thus he makes for a somewhat risky plug-and-play IDP option in Week 9.

Mack recorded 11 tackles (10 solo) in the Raiders' Week 7 loss to Arizona.
The 23-year-old set a new career high and matched his output from his previous three games combined with the 10 solo tackles, three of which came behind the line of scrimmage. Mack still is yet to record a sack this season, but the Raiders have just six sacks as a team through six games, and Mack's contributions in the run game alone have put him on the map as a fringe linebacker IDP option.

Mack recorded seven tackles (three solo) in last Sunday's loss to the Patriots.
Mack totaled 10.5 sacks during his senior season at Buffalo, but he's now failed to record one in his first three games as a pro. However, he more than held his own against New England, blindsiding Tom Brady on one play and beating left tackle Nate Solder consistently throughout the game. Coach Dennis Allen stopped short of calling it a breakthrough game, but did acknowledge that he thought Mack "played pretty well." Until Mack starts getting to the quarterback, he will make for a risky IDP option, since he's not DL-eligible in most leagues.

Mack recorded six tackles (five solo) in last Sunday's loss to the Jets.
While the 23-year-old finished sixth on the team in tackles in his regular-season debut, he tied for the team lead with two tackles for loss. Mack recorded a whopping 75 tackles for loss during his four-year collegiate career at Buffalo. The fifth overall pick in this year's draft, Mack will play primarily at strongside linebacker as a rookie and thus doesn't have DL eligibility in most IDP leagues. However, if he can continue to rack up tackles at a good clip and start getting to the quarterback, he could work himself into the discussion as a linebacker or flex IDP option.
Mon Jul 28 201415:20Raiders GM compares Mack to Clay Matthews
Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie has compared first-round OLB Khalil Mack to Clay Matthews.
No pressure, kid. "He's one of those guys that knows how to set the edge, and he has length and power and some tools to rush the passer," McKenzie said of his first-rounder. "He's got that first step, he can bend, he's relentless." Although it's rarely a favor to compare a young player to an established star, McKenzie has every reason to be excited. Mack will be a threat for double-digit sacks as a rookie, and should be in the conversation for DROY.
