Thomas was claimed off waivers by the Cowboys on Wednesday, ESPN Dallas reports.

Thomas was selected by New England in the sixth round of this year's draft. However, with the Patriots surprisingly letting Thomas go on Tuesday, the cornerback will now join Dallas' secondary ahead of the regular season.
