Dixon, who racked up 12 tackles in Thursday's preseason opener, left the game in the fourth quarter to be checked for a possible concussion, Rowan Kavner of DallasCowboys.com reports.
Dixon said he felt fine after the game, but he may be held out of a couple of practices as a precaution. He certainly made an impact Thursday and may have solidified his spot on the roster, but his preseason snaps will likely dwindle as the Cowboys' secondary gets healthier. Don't expect him to be much more than a special teams player come week 1.
