Filimoeatu was waived by the Raiders on Tuesday.

The Raiders have decided to move ahead with just five linebackers, though Filimoeatu could very well get the call back if there is an injury in the short-term. Filimoeatu has recorded five tackles (four solo) in five games this season.

The Raiders signed Filimoeatu from their practice squad Saturday.

Signed by Oakland as an undrafted free agent in May, Filimoeatu was waived at the end of training camp but ended up joining the practice squad just two days later. He played last week against Houston before being waived yet again, and will merely provide depth this week with Sio Moore (ankle) out and Nick Roach (concussion) questionable.
