There's a good chance of rain, so he'll have to focus on securing in the ball in his first opportunity to return balls since his time in Green Bay. He's got a great on-field track record, and should be a nice upgrade over Darius Reynaud (hamstring). A decent game from Blackmon could lead to Reynaud's release.

The paper also has Jason Chery missing the cut, apparently locking Sam Shields and Jordy Nelson into the primary return jobs. Once a game-breaking special teamer, Blackmon has been unable to overcome his 2009 ACL tear.

This is a reminder that Blackmon is still in the healing process. He's back at practice now and is hoping to play on Saturday, but the Packers may have wishful thinking if they are expecting him to regain his form on returns.
