Hill (knee) rushed eight times for 13 yards and caught one pass on two targets for 12 receiving yards Sunday against the Seahawks.

Coming off a three-touchdown performance in Week 4 against the Chiefs, Hill was outplayed by Giovani Bernard, who rushed 15 times for 80 yards and caught five passes for 21 receiving yards. Hill will still get a decent number of touches each game, but Bernard will be the first running back to get reps and Hill's opportunities will be based on Bernard's success, and not the other way around. Up next is a Week 6 trip to Buffalo before a Week 7 bye.

Hill (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

His three-touchdown performance in Week 4 demonstrated that he has value as a goal line back, but he is still in a timeshare with Giovanni Bernard, and the Seattle defense is obviously a tough one.

Hill scored three TDs in Week 4, but he's been sharing carries with Giovani Bernard, which makes Hill's fantasy upside in Week 5 against a Seattle defense that has hit stride of late largely dependent on his ability to find the end zone.

Hill (knee) remained limited at practice Thursday, the Cincinnati Enquirer's Paul Dehner Jr reports.

We'll check back on Hill's status Friday and while there has been no indication that he is in danger of missing Sunday's game against the Seahawks, a probable injury designation to close the week would no doubt be reassuring to his fantasy owners.

Hill (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday.

So far there is nothing to suggest that Hill's Week 5 status is in peril, though given his practice limitations Wednesday, we'll follow up on his status no later than Thursday's practice.

Hill carried just nine times for 40 yards in Sunday's game against the Chiefs, but he managed to score three touchdowns in the 36-21 win.

The second-year back has seen his workload decrease after fumbling issues early in the season, but he has maintained his role as the Bengals' goal line back, which paid dividends on Sunday. Gio Bernard continues to see the majority of the touches split between the two players, but Hill should eventually right the ship if he continues to do his part. Cincinnati will draw a tough home matchup against the stingy Seahawks defense in Week 5.

Hill gained just 21 yards on 12 carries in Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Facing a tough Ravens run defense just a week after he was benched for fumbling, the second-year back averaged just 1.8 yards per carry and was not targeted in the passing game. Some of Hill's ineffectiveness can be chalked up to the matchup and game flow, but he has clearly fallen out of favor with the coaching staff at the moment. He is a much better player than his three yards per carry in 2015 will indicate, and he should still see plenty of usage in Cincinnati's run-heavy offense. Hill has a home matchup against the Chiefs and their stingy run defense in Week 4.

Hill will be back in the Bengals' starting lineup Sunday against the Ravens, Adam Schefter reports.

That doesn't necessarily dictate that Hill will get a vast majority of the carries, however. Gio Bernard will get some work too and has been very effective the first two games.

Hill will be back in action next week against the Ravens despite getting benched for his two fumbles in Week 2, offensive coordinator Hue Jackson told Bengals.com.

How much Hill will get used is up in the air, however. Both Jackson and head coach Marvin Lewis were understandably vague about predicting Hill's usage. "I'll put him back in. It's a new game," Jackson said. "That's over with. That's over and done with. We're 2-0, so we're moving on. We're moving on to the next game." And from Lewis: "Neither of the guys knows how the game will unfold, so they have to be ready all the time," Lewis said.

Hill rushed for 39 yards on 10 carries and nabbed a pass for two yards in Sunday's victory over San Diego.

The Bengals moved to Giovani Bernard after Hill fumbled the ball twice. Hill had five fumbles last season, so his ability to secure the ball is worth monitoring. At his best, Hill is a power-running touchdown machine. At his worst, he's the wide-shouldered sidekick to a more-than-capable Bernard.

Hill rushed for 63 yards on 19 carries and found the end zone twice in Sunday's 33-13 win over Oakland.

Hill didn't break off any big gains, his longest run of the day being 11 yards, but he did his best work near the goal line - which is what fantasy owners drafted him for. Hill has now scored 11 rushing touchdowns in 18 career games and, given that he should see all or most of Cincinnati's goal-line carries, expect the scoring to continue.

Even though Hill has just six preseason carries so far, he and the rest of the first-team offense will not play into the second half in Saturday's third preseason game against the Bears, Bengals.com reports.

In previous years Marvin Lewis has used his starters into the third quarter with the third preseason game, but he's less-inclined to do so this season. Hill lost a fumble against the Bucs last week and is expected to focus on protecting the ball in this game.

Hill had two carries for 15 yards in Friday's preseason opener against the Giants.

Hill only played a few snaps and made the most of his two carries. He's set to lead the Cincinnati backfield this season, but Giovani Bernard will also be heavily involved, especially on passing downs.

Hill carried 13 times for 47 yards and a TD in Sunday's 26-10 playoff loss to the Colts.

Meanwhile, fellow RB Giovani Bernard carried three times for six yards and caught eight passes for 46 yards in the contest. Looking ahead to the 2015 season, Hill is presumably on track to continue to do the much of the heavy lifting in the Bengals' backfield, while Bernard will continue to earn his keep as a very capable change-of-pace/pass catching option.

Hill had 23 carries for 100 yards, adding two receptions for 10 yards on three targets, in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Steelers.

While little else worked in the team's favor, Cincinnati's running back duo provided exactly what management had in mind. Hill was again a nightmare for would-be tacklers, pushing his rookie-year rushing total to 1,124 yards with yet another strong showing. Meanwhile, Giovani Bernard caught 7-of-8 targets for 56 yards and a touchdown, adding eight yards on just three carries. Hill figures to see plenty of work in Sunday's playoff game against the Colts, and the Bengals may need even more than usual from their two running backs, if A.J. Green (concussion) is unable to play. Of course, a Green absence would presumably lead to more eight-man fronts for Hill.

Hill had 22 carries for 147 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 37-28 win over the Broncos, but he also lost a fumble during the third quarter.

Hill had an excellent 85-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, and he saw plenty of carries throughout the game, but Denver's defense was otherwise up to the task. Giovani Bernard was also a factor, catching 5-of-5 targets for 45 yards and a touchdown, with 36 yards on eight carries. While Bernard has an important role, Hill figures to get most of the carries in a favorable Week 17 matchup with the Steelers. The rookie has five fumbles (two lost) over his last seven games, but he also has four showings of 147 or more rushing yards since the beginning of November.

Hill ran all over the Browns on Sunday, rushing for 148 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries. He also added one reception for four yards in the 30-0 victory.

The Bengals' running back situation is still a time-share, but Hill has seemingly grabbed hold of the top spot, receiving 10 more carries than Giovani Bernard on Sunday. That said, a matchup with Denver's second-ranked run defense looms in Week 16, so don't expect a repeat of this performance, especially with Bernard still around to share a significant chunk of the workload.

Fellow running back Giovani Bernard indicated Thursday that Hill is slated to get the start in the Bengals' backfield Sunday against the Browns, the team's official site reports.

Since Bernard returned from a three-game injury absence, Hill has recorded 39 carries over the Bengals' last three games, while Bernard has combined for 33 carries in that span. While Bernard still figures to see his share of touches on Sunday, it appears as though the Bengals' backfield time-share may tilt further in Hill's direction this week, a notion supported by offensive coordinator Hue Jackson's comments Wednesday, which suggested that he may be inclined to use less of a two-back approach down the stretch.

Hill had eight carries for 46 rushing yards and three catches on four targets for 21 receiving yards during Sunday's loss to the Steelers.

Hill led the team in carries and rushing yards, with Giovani Bernard only rushing for 17 yards on six carries and accumulating 19 receiving yards on three catches. The two backs are expected to continue to split carries, which obviously puts a limit on their respective fantasy upsides, even against a Browns defense in Week 15 that is allowing the fifth-most rushing yards per game this season.

Hill got the start Sunday against Tampa Bay and rushed 13 times for 40 yards and caught four passes on four targets for 12 receiving yards in a 14-13 victory.

Giovani Bernard actually led the team with 49 rushing yards, though he did it with 10 carries, while also adding four receiving yards on one catch. Regardless of who starts between the two, they very much appear to be in a timeshare, which limits both of their fantasy upsides. Up next in Week 14 is a Steelers defense that came into Sunday allowing the ninth-fewest rushing yards per game this season, though they allowed 122 to Mark Ingram in Week 13.
