Desir hasn't seen many defensive snaps this season for Cleveland, but with Joe Haden (shoulder) out and Justin Gilbert supposedly having a bad week of practice, he was given a rare opportunity. The rookie is using the waning moments of 2014 to set himself up for a more prominent role on the team next season. |
Browns' coach Mike Pettine had intended for Desir to sit the majority of the 2014 season, but with Justin Gilbert (illness) and Tashaun Gipson (knee) both out, the Browns will need to carry an extra defensive back on the active roster. The rookie is likely to only see the field in an emergency situation, however, giving him very little value as an IDP. |
