Clinton-Dix is battling Micah Hyde for the starting safety spot alongside Morgan Burnett and the decision will come this weekend, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Clinton-Dix and Micah Hyde have been nearly neck-and-neck throughout training camp, and it appears the team wouldn't count out sitting their first-round pick if they feel he has been outperformed. Thursday's preseason game will go a long way in determining who will get the starting nod against the Seahawks in Week 1.
