Barrow suffered a lower leg injury during Sunday's preseason game against the 49ers, the Denver Post reports.
The Broncos are already very thin at linebacker, with the loss of Danny Trevathan (knee) the biggest void, and Barrow looked headed for a roster spot and playing time until Sunday's injury. He'll undergo additional tests Monday to determine the extent of the injury.
Sun Jun 15 201414:17Broncos MLB Barrow competing for starting job
Fifth-round pick Lamin Barrow will compete for the Broncos' starting middle linebacker job.
The Broncos are giving Barrow an extended look at the MIKE spot after he played mostly weak-side linebacker at LSU. Nate Irving is getting the majority of first-team reps at OTAs and remains atop the depth chart, but is better suited for a rotational role. ESPN's Jeff Legwold believes Barrow "already has the look of a guy who's going to push early and often for playing time."

Broncos signed fifth-round LB Lamin Barrow to a four-year contract.
Barrow was a weak-side linebacker at LSU and projects as one at the NFL level. He'll contribute on special teams early in his career but could develop into a starter long-term. Barrow will be WLB Danny Trevathan's top backup.
