Wed Apr 22 201517:24Linkenbach has signed deal with Dolphins
Linkenbach has signed a deal with the Dolphins, the Palm Beach Post reports.
The veteran lineman adds some much-needed depth and versatility to the Dolphin's offensive line. Linkenbach started three games last year for the Chiefs at left guard and in 2011 started all 16 games for the Colts at right tackle. While Linkenbach could see snaps at either left guard or tackle, it is believed that he will be competing for the Dolphins' left guard spot against the current starter Dallas Thomas this offseason.

Thu Mar 28 201314:06Colts sign RFA Jeff Linkenbach
Colts re-signed restricted free agent G/T Jeff Linkenbach to a one-year, $1.323 million contract.
Linkenbach, 26 in July, made eight starts in 2012, four at left guard and four at right tackle. After he struggled mightily as both a pass and run blocker, it was surprising the Colts gave Linkenbach a restricted tender at all. The Colts will bring back 6-foot-6, 311-pound Linkenbach as a swing backup.

Colts tendered restricted free agent G/T Jeff Linkenbach at the original-round level.
Linkenbach is capable of playing both guard and tackle, but has consistently struggled when inserted into the starting lineup. The Colts have to be hoping he doesn't approach the 12 starts he's averaged the past two seasons in 2013.

The Colts have moved Jeff Linkenbach from tackle to guard.
He'll compete with Joe Reitz for the starting left guard job in training camp. Linkenbach got destroyed in 16 starts at left and right tackle last year, and the Colts should hope he doesn't get back into the lineup this season.

Mon Aug 29 201101:23Linkenbach locked in at right tackle
Jeff Linkenbach appears to be locked in as the Colts' starting right tackle.
The starting offensive line looks like Anthony Costanzo, Joe Reitz, Jeff Saturday, Ryan Diem, and Linkenbach from left to right. Costanzo held up well in pass protection against Green Bay's blitz while Linkenbach keyed a successful ground attack. Joseph Addai and Delone Carter, Indy's top two backs, have averaged 4.75 yards per carry this preseason.

Tue Aug 9 201114:08Linkenbach opens as starting left tackle
The Colts' first training camp depth chart lists Jeff Linkenbach as the starting left tackle.
First-rounder Anthony Castonzo won't be handed the starting job without a fight. It's interesting to note second-rounder Ben Ijalana is listed as the backup right tackle. Jacques McClendon is the starter at left guard. We'd like to see both early-round rookies starting by Week 1.
