Hulett failed to climb to the majors in 2010 after inking a minor league contract with the Red Sox then the Mariners. He finished with a .223/.339/.371 batting line over 350 at-bats for two Triple-A clubs. |

Hulett can hit a little, but since he's not much of a shortstop, he hasn't been tried as a utilityman while the Red Sox have dealt with their infield injuries. Time will tell if anyone will pick him up off waivers. |
