Davis started last season in independent league ball and eventually had his contract purchased by the Nationals. The 28-year-old finished the year batting .229 with two homers over 36 games at Double-A Harrisburg. He's organizational filler. | ||||||

The Blue Jays have signed Leonard Davis to a minor league deal. | ||||||
A career minor leaguer, Davis has extensive experience playing second base, third base, and the outfield. He also has some pop in his bat, smacking 81 homers the past four seasons. He is expected to begin the season at Triple-A Las Vegas. | ||||||
