It's the same old story for Barnes. He had decent enough peripherals for Double-A Akron this season (126 H, 15 HR, 58 BB and 127 Ks in 138 IP), but he ended up with a 5.22 ERA anyway. On Wednesday, he didn't issue a walk or allow a homer, but he allowed five hits, resulting in five runs between the second and third innings. | ||||||
