Ryan Doumit delivered an RBI single in the 11th inning on Saturday afternoon in the nation's capital, propelling the Twins to a 4-3 victory over the Nationals.
Doumit finished the afternoon 2-for-5. He's now hit safely in all six games he's played in the month of June, going 10-for-27 (.370) with three bombs and eight RBI during that stretch. Thu Jun 6 201323:19Ryan Doumit homers again as Twins lose
Ryan Doumit homered for the third time in his past four games, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Royals on Thursday.
The two-run blast off Wade Davis in the first inning was his only hit in three at-bats on the night, and he also drew a walk. He's now hitting .236/.302/.449 on the season, but has eight homers and 32 RBI which is providing plenty of fantasy value from the catcher position, especially in two-catcher formats.

Sat Jun 1 201316:50Doumit leads Twins to walk-off win vs. M's
Ryan Doumit went 3-for-5 with a walk-off two-run triple and a run scored in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Mariners.
Doumit collected hits in each of his final three at-bats, culminating with his triple to the right-center field gap in the bottom of the ninth. It was just the seventh triple of his career. Doumit got off a really slow start this season, but he's hitting .320 (8-for-25) with two home runs, two doubles, one triple, and 11 RBI over his last six games. With his eligibility between catcher and the outfield, he can be a useful piece in deeper mixed leagues.

Ryan Doumit doubled in two runs in the Twins' win over the Brewers on Wednesday.

Tue May 7 201322:33Doumit picks up first homer against Red Sox
Ryan Doumit went 2-for-4 with his first home run of the season in the Twins' victory over the Red Sox on Tuesday.
Doumit's had a rough start to the season, hitting just .214 through his first 25 games. He had a strong 2012 in which he hit .275 with 18 homers, but staying healthy has always been his biggest weakness. With catcher being a surprisingly deep position this year, Doumit can be dropped if his struggles continue much longer.

Ryan Doumit is not in Friday's lineup against the Rangers.
Doumit didn't start Thursday either, though he eventually entered the game as the DH and received two at-bats. It appears that his playing time could suffer the most now that Oswaldo Arcia is up with the big club. Josh Willingham will serve as the DH on Friday night while Arcia plays left field.

Fri Mar 8 201322:02Doumit has two hits, RBI as Twins top Red Sox
Ryan Doumit went 2-for-3 with an RBI on Friday as the Twins topped the Red Sox 2-0.
Doumit had been off to a slow start this spring, so it's nice to see him with the multi-hit effort. While he'll split most of his time between the DH spot and the outfield in 2013, his eligibility at catcher makes him a very attractive target in the later rounds of fantasy drafts, particularly in two-catcher formats.

Wed Feb 27 201317:23Ryan Doumit homers in Twins' victory
Ryan Doumit went 2-for-2 and hit a three-run homer as the Twins topped the Phillies 12-5 on Wednesday.
The recent rumors connecting the Twins and Jim Thome should have Doumit buyers a bit nervous, but there's still nothing concrete there. As is, Doumit still projects as the Twins' primary DH. He'll also often start behind the plate when Joe Mauer is used as a DH or first baseman.

Mon Oct 1 201223:40Ryan Doumit (thumb) likely to be shut down
Ryan Doumit will likely be shut down due to a thumb injury.
No word on the severity of the injury, but he will have all offseason to heal. If he's truly done, he will finish the season with a .275/.320/.461 batting line to go along with career-highs in home runs (18), RBI (75) and games played (134). His two-year, $7 million extension looks like a pretty nice value at the moment.
