CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago White Sox expect outfielder Nicky Delmonico to miss four to six weeks because of a broken bone in his right middle finger.He was injured in the second inning of Friday's game against Texas when he was hit by a pitch from Matt Moore. Delmonico dropped to the ground in pain, and Leury Garcia came in to run for him and took over in left field.Delmonico entered the game batting .226. The team announced Friday that Lagares had an MRI and is tentatively scheduled for surgery next week to repair a complete tear of the big toe plantar plate, which is a thick supporting ligament."We got the news yesterday," manager Mickey Callaway said. "That was really tough. I felt really bad for him. CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago White Sox got another visit from Danny Farquhar, and they continue to be encouraged by the reliever's recovery from a brain hemorrhage last month.The visit prior to Friday's game against the Texas Rangers was his second since he collapsed in the dugout during a home game last month. He also saw the team on May 8, a day after he was released from the hospital.Manager Rick Renteria says Farquhar brought his wife, Lexie, his children and sister-in-law as well as some cookies.
