Burgos took the loss against the Padres on Friday, allowing a run on one hit and two walks with a strikeout in his only inning.
Burgos has struggled to get major league hitters out, posting a 6.00 ERA and 1.67 WHIP in six innings. He was posting decent numbers in a small sample at Double-A at the start of the year and may need some more exposure at the level before sticking with the D-Backs permanently.

Burgos' second appearance for the D-Backs didn't go well Friday in a loss to the Dodgers. He allowed two runs on two hits and two walks in one inning of work, while striking out two.
Burgos has shown strike out potential, but shaky command in the minors and the Dodgers took advantage. The 24-year-old is taking injured teammate Archie Bradley's spot on the roster and will likely head back down to Double-A when Bradley is ready to return. In the meantime, he will work some mop up duty to gain experience, but is not likely to offer a lot of fantasy value outside of a few strike outs.

Burgos was recalled from Double-A Mobile on Wednesday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
Burgos will replace Archie Bradley (face) on the Diamondbacks' 25-man roster. He hasn't started a game since 2011, so he'll provide another arm out of the club's bullpen after pitching 6.2 scoreless innings at Double-A Mobile to begin 2015.
