Philadelphia may temporarily use a four-man rotation, until Sean O'Sullivan (knee) return.

Well, that's about as poor a first impression as you can make. Gonzalez certainly didn't put forth much of a case for a rotation spot, and his numbers in the minors over the last two seasons don't point to a terrific amount of upside. That said, he's still just 22 years old.
