The Chicago Cubs have acquired outfielder Harold Ramirez from the Cleveland Guardians in exchange for a cash consideration. Ramirez hit .268 with a .305 on-base percentage, seven home runs, and three stolen bases in 361 plate appearances for Cleveland last season. The former Cleveland outfielder will give the Cubs some depth behind Jason Heyward, Ian Happ, and Rafael Ortega. Chicago's other outfield options on the 40-man roster include Alexander Canario, Greg Deichmann, Michael Hermosillo, and Nelson Velazquez.

Mon Sep 20 202109:53Harold Ramirez Drives In Four Sunday
Cleveland Indians outfielder Harold Ramirez went 2-for-2 with a run scored and four RBI in Sunday's 11-1 win over the New York Yankees. Ramirez started the game with a two-run single in the first and then replicated that performance with another in the third inning. He has been a solid acquisition for the Tribe and has hit 13 home runs and driven in 36 across just 209 at-bats this season. His role heading into 2022 is uncertain and is not worthy of stashing in dynasty leagues. He could make for a solid sleeper candidate, however, if given more playing time next season.

Tue Aug 24 202114:25Harold Ramirez, Bobby Bradley To Begin Rehab Assignments
Cleveland Indians outfielder Harold Ramirez (knee) and first baseman Bobby Bradley (knee) are both slated to begin rehab assignments at High-A Lake County on Tuesday. Both players are currently dealing with knee injuries. Bradley has been out since August 6 while Ramirez has been sidelined since August 11. Neither player is a must-roster player in any fantasy league, but they have each flashed some value here and there throughout the year. Bradley has 11 home runs over 46 games this year while Ramirez has slashed .263/.304/.405 over 77 games.

Wed Aug 11 202121:32Harold Ramirez Injured Wednesday Night
Cleveland Indians outfielder Harold Ramirez (knee) left the game early on Wednesday against the Oakland Athletics with right knee tightness. Ramirez had an RBI single and was caught stealing before he left the contest. We'll let you know more on the injury when there's more information, but for now, fantasy managers should consider Ramirez day-to-day. The 26-year-old had a pedestrian .261/.301/.402 slash line with six home runs, 30 RBI and three stolen bases in 261 at-bats for Cleveland coming into the game, and he was off to a cold start to the month with a 6-for-28 (.214) performance with no home runs and three RBI. If Ramirez's injury is more serious, Bradley Zimmer and Oscar Mercado figure to benefit from regular playing time in Cleveland's outfield mix.

Sat Aug 7 202107:58Harold Ramirez Collects Two Hits Friday
Cleveland Indians outfielder Harold Ramirez went 2-for-4 in Friday's 6-1 win over the Detroit Tigers. It was a solid night for Ramirez who is now hitting .273 with four RBI over his previous 22 at-bats. He will look to keep it rolling against a Detroit Tigers team that has a bottom 10 ERA on the season. That being said, he still has not done enough to be added in most fantasy formats.

Ramirez, 21, slashed .337/.399/.458 with four home runs and 22 steals (on 37 attempts) in 80 games with High-A Bradenton.
At 5-foot-10, 210 pounds, it's hard to see Ramirez stealing 20-plus bases per year in the big leagues, but it's his hit tool that should excite dynasty league owners. Ramirez is probably still two years away from the big leagues, but he should certainly be on the radar of those in deep dynasty leagues going into the offseason.
