Miller is the only one of the group that might have entered camp with an outside shot of landing an Opening Day roster spot. He allowed five runs -- three earned -- over his five spring innings and will now provide depth at Triple-A.

Miller is now on the 40-man roster. The 26-year-old posted an ugly 7.67 ERA and 33/16 K/BB ratio 27 innings with the Rangers' Double-A and Triple-A affiliates this past season before being given his release in September, but he latched on with the Tigers a couple of weeks later.
