(AP) — The return of inflammation to Jorge Alfaro's right knee is once again prompting the Miami Marlins to shut down their expected opening-day catcher for a few more days.Alfaro re-aggravated the injury during Tuesday's game while sliding into second base."The biggest thing is just get rid of this inflammation so we can move forward," Miami manager Don Mattingly said.Obtained from Philadelphia as part of the trade that sent J.T. The Cincinnati Reds placed Tucker Barnhart on the three-day paternity list and recalled fellow catcher Chad Wallach from Triple-A Louisville prior to Thursday's afternoon game against the New York Mets. Barnhart had just returned to action on Tuesday and played in Wednesday's game. The 26-year-old is batting .265 with five homers and 33 RBIs in 99 games this season.Wallach, 25, started for the Reds on Sunday and went 0-for-4 with a strikeout before returning to Louisville.
