Tue May 3 202211:23Amed Rosario Could Return Tuesday
Cleveland Guardians shortstop Amed Rosario (wrist) has been battling some left wrist tightness on and off since the start of spring training, and he was held out of the lineup for a third straight game on Sunday against the Oakland Athletics as a result. With the team having an off day on Monday, it's possible that Rosario could be back in the starting lineup for the series opener against the San Diego Padres on Tuesday. If the 26-year-old isn't able to return this week, a trip to the injured list will likely be in store. Rosario is still looking for his first home run of the season and is off to a slow start with a .211 batting average, five RBI, nine runs scored and one stolen base in his first 19 games of the season.

Mon Apr 11 202221:42Amed Rosario Continues Hot Start Monday
Cleveland Guardians shortstop Amed Rosario recorded his second consecutive multi-hit game on Monday, tallying two hits in five at-bats while scoring once and driving in a run during the 10-7 win against the Kansas City Royals. He's now started the year 8-for-18 with four RBI. Rosario's been on a roll since the All-Star break of last season. During the second half of 2021, he hit .309 with a .796 OPS and five stolen bases and overall slashed .282/.321/.409 with 11 HRs, 13 SBs, 77 runs, and 57 RBI over 141 games a season ago. Obviously, he's not going to hit .444 the rest of the way, but those with shares of Rosario should still expect a plus batting average. Add in a handful of steals and home runs and the fact that he's hitting in the middle of the Guardians lineup, and fantasy managers will get a little bit of everything from the 26-year-old.
