He's batting second against the Padres.

Mon Apr 25 202209:01Jake Fraley Could Return To The Lineup Tuesday
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jake Fraley (knee) has been dealing with a knee injury lately, according to C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic. Rosecrans reports that Fraley was fully available off the bench for Sunday's game, though he didn't make an appearance in the game. There's a chance he could be back in the lineup on Tuesday. Fraley has struggled out of the gate this year, slashing just .129/.229/.258 over 11 games. He has some competition for playing time in the Reds outfield, so he'll need to get things together soon in order to continue to see steady playing time.

Wed Sep 29 202111:15Jake Fraley Drives In Two Against Oakland
Seattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley got another start against the Oakland Athletics and right-hander Chris Bassitt Tuesday, and he came through by going 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, and two RBI. Fraley has struggled since the All-Star break, slashing .168/.273/.284 in 95 at-bats as opposed to .237/.409/.439 in his 114 at-bats before the break. Still, he's managed nine homers and 10 steals over the course of the year, a power/speed combination that could make him a sneaky fantasy value in future seasons if he finds himself with a bit of playing time.

Mon Sep 27 202112:26Jake Fraley Drives In Three, Steals A Base
Seattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley came close to hitting a dramatic grand slam against the Los Angeles Angels Sunday, but he instead settled for a bases-clearing double off the top of the wall. He was 1-for-4 in the game with three RBI, and he also added his 10th stolen base of the season. Fraley has only collected 205 at-bats this season, but with nine homers and 10 steals, he's shown off plenty of fantasy potential should he manage more full-time playing time in 2022, however unlikely that scenario is. He should be left on the waiver wire for the remainder of this season.

Sat Sep 18 202119:02Jake Fraley On The Bench Saturday
Seattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley is on the bench on Saturday. The Mariners will take on the Kansas City Royals and left-handed starter Kris Bubic but will do so without Fraley in the lineup. The outfielder is batting .213 with a .353 on-base percentage, nine home runs, and nine stolen bases in 232 plate appearances this season. Dylan Moore is batting ninth and starting in left field in place of Fraley. The 28-year-old is hitting .174 with a .271 on-base percentage, 12 home runs, and 20 stolen bases in 339 plate appearances this season. Fantasy managers are probably better off looking elsewhere for streaming help.

Sat Sep 18 202100:42Jake Fraley Doubles Friday
Seattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley recorded his first extra-base hit since coming off the injured list in Friday's win over the Kansas City Royals, going 2-for-3 with a double and a walk. Fraley has started all three games since returning, and now has a .736 OPS with nine homers and nine steals in 10 attempts for the season. His .383 slugging percentage is a weak spot, but Fraley is a solid contributor in all other areas as long as he's receiving playing time. Fantasy managers could do worse than double-digit homers and steals off the waiver wire this last in the year.

Tue Sep 14 202118:40Jake Fraley Reinstated From Injured List
The Seattle Mariners reinstated outfielder Jake Fraley (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. Fellow outfielder Jose Marmolejos was designated for assignment to make room on the active roster. Fraley has logged 220 plate appearances for the Mariners this season, batting .213 with a .359 on-base percentage, nine home runs, and nine stolen bases. Fantasy managers looking for outfield help in leagues where on-base percentage is part of the scoring should consider adding Fraley.

Sun Aug 29 202108:32Jake Fraley Lands On Injured List With Shoulder Inflammation
The Seattle Mariners placed outfielder Jake Fraley (shoulder) on the 10-day injured list due to right shoulder inflammation on Saturday. Relief pitcher Anthony Misiewicz (forearm) was also placed on the injured list. The team called up pitchers Wyatt Mills and Jimmy Yacabonis to fill the empty roster spots. Fraley had been really struggling at the plate over the last month. He slashed just .172/.254/.297 in August. However, he's shown some promising flashes this year. Over 62 games on the year, he has slashed .213/.359/.388 with nine home runs, nine stolen bases, 30 RBI and 23 runs. We don't know much in terms of the severity of his shoulder inflammation yet, but we should get a better idea of his expected recovery timeline soon.

Fri Aug 27 202112:29Jake Fraley Homers In Loss Thursday
Seattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley had a strong day at the plate against the Kansas City Royals Thursday, going 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, and three RBI. The two-run shot was his ninth of the season and his first since August 12. In just 176 at-bats this year, Fraley has also added nine steals, making him a cheap all-around option in deep leagues. He's receiving regular playing time at all three outfield spots since coming off the injured list August 2.

Sun Aug 15 202111:30Jake Fraley Steals Ninth Base
Seattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley added another steal to his resume Saturday, swiping second base against the Toronto Blue Jays. The theft gives him nine on the season. Fraley went 1-for-3 with a walk from the ninth spot. Fraley has been very solid this season when he's been healthy, with an .803 OPS, eight homers, and those nine steals in just 145 at-bats. That projects out to a 30-30 season over 600 at-bats, though it's unlikely he would actually keep the pace. At this point, the only thing holding him back from being an add in all leagues is his spot at the bottom of the Seattle batting order.

Thu Aug 12 202120:46Jake Fraley Hits Eighth Homer Thursday
Seattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley went deep for the eighth time this season in Thursday's matchup against the Texas Rangers. It was his only hit in three at-bats. Fraley has been on a slide over his last 15 games with just a .562 OPS in that time, but this home run gives him eight homers and eight steals on the year with a .389 on-base percentage. He's accomplished that in just 141 at-bats, hinting at the upside and versatility Fraley could offer if he were on the field more often. He's worth a look in deeper fantasy leagues as long as he's playing regularly.

Mon Aug 2 202123:25Jake Fraley Drives In Two, Steals A Base In Return
Seattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley got the start in left field batting sixth in his return from the COVID list Monday, and he jumped right back into the fray, going 2-for-4 with a walk, two RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base. It was his eighth steal in nine attempts this season. In limited time, Fraley has been a major contributor this year, with an .856 OPS, seven homers, 19 runs, and 25 RBI in 118 at-bats. It remains to be seen how much playing time he receives, but as long as he's playing most days he should be on fantasy rosters.

Sun Jul 18 202116:21Mariners place Fraley on COVID-19 list after positive test
ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley has been placed on the COVID-19 list after testing positive on Saturday. Fraley did not play in Friday and Saturday's games against the Los Angeles Angels. Manager Scott Servais said after Friday's game that Fraley was under the weather after the initial test was negative. Servais said before Sunday's game that Fraley was experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and that he has been quarantined. Fraley will be quarantined for at least 10 days from the day he first started showing symptoms. Servais said he is hoping no other players will have to be isolated. Most of the players who were contact traced to Fraley were already vaccinated. The Mariners had to place four pitchers on the COVID-19 list in late May after a road trip to San Diego with two eventually having to quarantine. Fraley's case adds to a spike in positive COVID-19 results around Major League Baseball since the All-Star break. The Yankees and Rockies have had coronavirus outbreaks sidelining 10 players and two coaches, “My concern level is relatively high with what’s going on around the league,” Servais said. “I think we all see what’s going on around our country, there’s been a spike in the COVID cases.” Fraley is batting .237 with seven home runs and 23 RBIs. Outfielder Dillon Thomas was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma to take Fraley's roster spot. ___ More AP MLB: https://apnews.com/hub/MLB and https://twitter.com/AP_Sports

Sat Jun 26 202103:50Nola ties record with 10 straight Ks, Phils, Mets split DH
Bryce Harper blew kisses at a booing crowd to punctuate his home run, and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the New York Mets 2-1 in eight innings Friday night for a doubleheader split after Aaron Nola matched a long-standing major league record with 10 straight strikeouts in the opener. Odúbel Herrera drove in the tiebreaking run with a groundout against reliever Sean Reid-Foley (2-1) in the eighth as both games took an extra inning to determine a winner. Nola tied Tom Seaver’s mark for consecutive strikeouts set 51 years ago, but the Mets rallied to win the first game 2-1 in eight innings on big hits by Francisco Lindor and Dominic Smith. Following a costly error by third baseman Alec Bohm in the bottom of the seventh, Archie Bradley (3-1) limited the damage and allowed only pinch-hitter James McCann’s tying sacrifice fly in the nightcap. In the opener, Seth Lugo (1-0) struck out three in the top of the eighth and stranded two runners for the NL East leaders, playing their third doubleheader... [More]
