Sat Mar 12 202211:23Josh Rojas Ready To Go
Arizona Diamondbacks infielder/outfielder Josh Rojas (shoulder), who had cleanup surgery on his non-throwing shoulder after last season, said he's "doing really well" and is fully healthy entering spring training. "It's doing really well," Rojas said. "I'm really happy. I did the surgery. It feels good. I've been doing everything, hitting, throwing, taking ground balls. Everything feels good." Rojas is one of several Arizona players that could be ticketed for third base in 2022, but the team also likes his versatility to play all over the diamond. Josh VanMeter and Drew Ellis are also in the mix at the hot corner. In his first full big-league season in 2021, Rojas hit .264/.341/.411 with 11 home runs, 44 RBI and nine stolen bases in 550 plate appearances over 139 games.

Sat Oct 2 202119:21Josh Rojas Not Starting Saturday
Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Josh Rojas will be on the bench for Saturday's game against the Colorado Rockies and right-handed starter Antonio Senzatela. Rojas is batting .263 with a .339 on-base percentage, 11 home runs, and nine stolen bases in 545 plate appearances this season. Rojas started at third base on Friday, but it'll be Josh VanMeter getting the start at the hot corner on Saturday. Fantasy managers are probably better off looking elsewhere for streaming help.

Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Josh Rojas is absent from the starting lineup for Tuesday's game as the team is hosting Jesse Chavez and the Atlanta Braves. Daulton Varsho is leading off in the game while Ildemaro Vargas is getting the start at shortstop. Rojas has been providing a decent spark at the top of the Diamondbacks lineup lately. He's slashing .254/.308/.305 with two stolen bases and 10 runs scored so far in September. He has 11 home runs, nine stolen bases and a .766 OPS over 130 games on the year.

Sat Aug 21 202117:53Josh Rojas Out Of Saturday's Lineup
Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Josh Rojas isn't in the lineup on Saturday for a matchup against the Colorado Rockies and left-handed starter Kyle Freeland. Rojas has been starting in the outfield lately but will get the day off on Saturday. He's batting .288 on the season with a .371 on-base percentage, 11 home runs, and seven stolen bases in 406 plate appearances. It'll be Daulton Varsho starting in left field in Rojas' place against the Rockies and hitting seventh. Considering the game is taking place at Coors Field, Varsho could have some streaming appeal in deeper leagues where on-base percentage is part of the scoring. The 24-year-old is batting .217 with a .328 on-base percentage, six home runs, and four stolen bases in 178 plate appearances this season.

Sun Aug 8 202109:46Josh Rojas Could Return Tuesday
Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Josh Rojas (finger) could be reinstated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, according to manager Torey Lovullo. He's been sidelined since mid-July with a dislocated finger. The 27-year-old began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Reno Friday. Barring any setbacks over the weekend, he could be reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's contest against the San Francisco Giants. Rojas has been a reliable hitter for Arizona in 2021, slashing .268/.356/.438 with 10 homers, 28 RBI, 50 runs scored, and seven stolen bases across 362 plate appearances. Fantasy managers who stashed Rojas during the injury are expected to have him back in their lineups early next week.
