Tue Jul 25 202318:46Corbin Carroll Resting On Tuesday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. This appears to be a routine rest day for the 22-year-old outfielder. Alek Thomas will cover center field and bat ninth versus left-hander Steven Matz on Tuesday. Fantasy managers should make sure to adjust their lineups with Carroll sidelined. The expectation is that he'll rejoin the lineup after this rest day.

Tue Jul 18 202314:23Corbin Carroll Cooling Off In July
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll remains one of the most dynamic fantasy players in the game in just his second major-league season with Arizona, but he's cooled off a bit so far at the plate in the month of July. Carroll has gone hitless in his last two games and in three of his last four contests, and he's hitting .235 (8-for-34) with a home run, four RBI, two stolen bases and four runs scored in 10 games in July to this point. He has also recently had two separate injury scares with his shoulder, the same one that he had surgery on several years earlier. The 22-year-old is still slashing a strong .284/.359/.534 with an .894 OPS, 18 home runs, 48 RBI, 26 stolen bases and 64 runs scored in 320 at-bats, but his fantasy managers will be hoping the shoulder issue won't be an ongoing issue moving forward.

Sat Jul 8 202312:36Corbin Carroll Has Two Hits, Two Steals Friday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll proved on Friday in a 7-3 win over the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates that he's healthy after another injury scare with his shoulder on Thursday. Carroll managed to go 2-for-5 with an RBI, two stolen bases and two runs scored. This should further ease any fantasy managers' concerns they may have had about Carroll heading into the final weekend series of the first half of the season. The 22-year-old also missed three games last weekend with the same shoulder injury. It's worth keeping an eye on heading into the second half, as it's the same shoulder that he had surgery on two years ago. Otherwise, though, Carroll has been electric in his second MLB season, slashing .291/.366/.556 with a .922 OPS, 18 homers, 20 doubles, three triples, 47 RBI, 26 steals and 63 runs scored in 340 plate appearances.

Fri Jul 7 202320:00Corbin Carroll Back In The Lineup Friday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll (shoulder) is right back in the team's lineup on Friday to start a series against the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates and veteran left-hander Rich Hill. Carroll is starting in center field and batting second in the lineup. The 22-year-old missed three starts last weekend due to a right-shoulder injury and then was removed early from Thursday's game with the same injury, causing some serious concern from the D-backs and fantasy managers. But apparently there wasn't anything concerning found after he underwent tests on Friday, and he's right back in the lineup. Carroll needs to be returned to all starting fantasy lineups. He's contributing across all categories with a .290 average (86-for-297) with 18 homers, 46 RBI, 24 stolen bases and 61 runs in his second MLB season.

Fri Jul 7 202311:59Initial Tests Positive On Corbin Carroll's Shoulder
According to Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo, initial tests done on outfielder Corbin Carroll's shoulder were positive in terms of strength and stability. Carroll will undergo more testing on Saturday to see if the team can get a better feel for what might be going on. It's the same shoulder that caused the 22-year-old to miss three straight starts last weekend and the same shoulder he had surgery on two years ago, so it's definitely worrisome for Arizona and fantasy managers. Carroll left Thursday night's game against the New York Mets after a swing and miss in the seventh inning. It's unlikely that he'll play in the three-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates to close out the first half, and fantasy managers should just be hoping that he's not forced to open up the second half next weekend on the injured list. Stay tuned for more information on his injury on Saturday.

Fri Jul 7 202300:51Corbin Carroll Exits Early On Thursday With Injury
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll left Thursday's loss to the New York Mets early with an apparent right shoulder injury. Carroll took an awkward swing on a pitch from Carlos Carrasco in the seventh inning and promptly grabbed his right shoulder. The trainers came out right away and he left the game before finishing his at-bat. This is significant because it's the same shoulder that forced him to miss a few games last week. The team should provide an update at some point on Friday but Carroll should be considered day-to-day for now. There's a good chance that the D-Backs shut him down for the next three games before the All-Star break.

Wed Jul 5 202312:31Corbin Carroll Homers In First Game Back
In his return to the lineup on Tuesday against the visiting New York Mets, Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, a run scored and a walk in the team's 8-5 loss. Carroll missed the team's previous three games due to a shoulder injury, but it wasn't a serious issue, and he proved it by going deep on the Fourth of July. The 22-year-old dynamic outfielder is now hitting .292 (85-for-291) with 18 home runs, 20 doubles, three triples, 46 RBI, 24 stolen bases and 61 runs scored in 329 trips to the plate and 81 games in his second MLB season. He can do it all and should be in all starting fantasy lineups whenever he's on the field.

Tue Jul 4 202314:14Corbin Carroll Returns On Fourth Of July
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll (shoulder) is back in the starting lineup on Tuesday and is starting in left field and facing New York Mets right-hander Max Scherzer. Carroll made a pinch-hitting appearance on Sunday and had the off day on Monday to rest up, but this will be his first start since injuring his shoulder last Thursday. The D-backs were never really too concerned with the injury, so the 22-year-old should be in there until next week's All-Star break. Carroll is an absolute must-start when he's playing, as he's hitting .289/.365/.557 with a .923 OPS, 17 home runs, 20 doubles, three triples, 44 RBI, 24 stolen bases and 60 runs scored in 324 trips to the plate over 80 games this year.

Mon Jul 3 202312:08Corbin Carroll Pinch Hits On Sunday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll (shoulder) was out of Sunday's starting lineup against the Los Angeles Angels for the third straight day due to a shoulder injury he sustained on Thursday, but he entered Sunday's game in the ninth inning as a pinch-hitter and grounded out. The 22-year-old also took batting practice over the weekend, so he appears close to returning to the field, hopefully on Tuesday against the New York Mets after Monday's off day. The D-backs haven't been too concerned about Carroll's injury this whole time, so fantasy managers shouldn't be either. The second-year outfielder is extremely valuable in all fantasy categories, as he's currently slashing .289/.365/.557 with a .923 OPS, 17 home runs, 44 RBI, 24 stolen bases and 60 runs scored in 287 at-bats.

Sun Jul 2 202315:33Corbin Carroll Set To Miss Third Straight Game
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll (shoulder) is not in the starting lineup on Sunday in the series finale against the Los Angeles Angels. Carroll is missing his third straight game due to a sore right shoulder that the team isn't too worried about. With an off day coming on Monday, hopefully he'll be able to return to the lineup for the start of a series against the New York Mets on Tuesday after he was able to take batting practice on Saturday. Whenever the 22-year-old does return to action, fantasy managers will need to get him into their starting lineups right away. Carroll is dynamic as they come and contributes across all fantasy categories, slashing .290/.366/.559 with a .926 OPS, 17 homers, 44 RBI, 24 stolen bases and 60 runs scored in 286 at-bats. Outfield prospect Dominic Fletcher will get his third straight start with Carroll still out.

Sun Jul 2 202309:24Corbin Carroll Returns To Baseball Activity On Saturday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll (shoulder) took on-field batting practice ahead of Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. The 22-year-old exited Thursday's outing versus the Tampa Bay Rays with shoulder soreness and remains day-to-day. With an off day on Monday, it wouldn't be surprising to see Carroll stay out of Sunday's lineup for the series finale in Anaheim. Fantasy managers will need to check back closer to game time for another update on the rising star's status.

Fri Jun 30 202319:16Corbin Carroll Still Sidelined Friday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll (shoulder) is out of the starting lineup for the start of a series against the Los Angeles Angels on Friday. Outfield prospect Dominic Fletcher, who was called up from Triple-A Reno earlier in the day, is playing left field and batting sixth against Angels right-hander Griffin Canning. It's not a big shock after Carroll was forced from Thursday's game early against the Tampa Bay Rays with right-shoulder soreness. The D-backs aren't too concerned about the injury, though, so the 22-year-old could be back in the lineup as early as Saturday. Whenever he returns, fantasy managers need to get him back into their starting lineups right away. Carroll is one of the best fantasy producers across all categories, as he's slashing .290/.366/.559 with a .926 OPS, 17 homers, 44 RBI, 24 stolen bases and 60 runs scored in just his second MLB season.

Thu Jun 29 202319:23Corbin Carroll Day-To-Day, D-Backs Have Minimal Concern
Updating a previous report, Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said the level of concern for outfielder Corbin Carroll (shoulder) is "minimal," and he's not currently set to undergo any testing after leaving Thursday's game early against the Tampa Bay Rays with right-shoulder soreness. It's the same shoulder that Carroll had surgery on in 2021, but it's still apparently not very concerning to Arizona. The 22-year-old stud outfielder went 0-for-2 with a strikeout in the contest before departing. It remains to be seen if he'll be back in the lineup on Friday for the start of a series against the Los Angeles Angels, but if Carroll is in there, he needs to be started in all fantasy lineups. He entered Thursday with an impressive .292/.369/.563 slash line, .932 OPS, 17 homers, 44 RBI, 24 steals and 60 runs in 284 at-bats on the year.

Thu Jun 29 202317:19Corbin Carroll Leaves Early With Injury
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll (neck, shoulder) departed Thursday's game early against the Tampa Bay Rays in the top of the fifth inning after it looked like he was dealing with an issue in his right shoulder/neck area after his last at-bat in the third inning. The 22-year-old was replaced in right field by Jake McCarthy. He went 0-for-2 with a strikeout before leaving prematurely. Hopefully, Arizona is taking every precaution with their star outfielder in what was a 6-0 game in Tampa's favor at the time. Fantasy managers will want to check back for more updates on Carroll's condition. Losing him for any amount of time would be a huge blow. He came into the day hitting .292 (83-for-284) with 17 homers, 20 doubles, three triples, 44 RBI, 24 steals and 60 runs scored in 78 games in his first full MLB season.

Wed Jun 28 202302:14Corbin Carroll Socks A Three-Run Homer In Win
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and a strikeout in an 8-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday. Carroll put an exclamation point on the Diamondbacks' five-run first inning when he smacked a Taj Bradley offering over the wall in center field with Geraldo Perdomo and Ketel Marte aboard. He also added a single in the lopsided victory. Carroll had been scuffling at the dish lately so perhaps Tuesday's big game will get him going again. He's still putting together a phenomenal rookie campaign, slashing .293/.370/.568 with 17 home runs, 44 RBI, and 23 stolen bases over 280 at-bats.

Wed Jun 28 202302:07Corbin Carroll Crushes Three-Run Homer In Win
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll finished 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in the first inning of Tuesday's 8-4 win versus the Tampa Bay Rays. The 22-year-old isn't hitting for a ton of contact lately; Carroll is batting just .208 over his last 53 at-bats. However, the rookie sensation is supplying plenty of pop (four homers) and speed (four swipes) over this span to offset the low average. Overall, Carroll is slashing .293/.370/.568 with 17 blasts, 44 RBI, and 23 stolen bags as a five-category fantasy stud in the upstart D-backs lineup. The rising star looks well on the way to his first All-Star Game in Seattle this July.

Thu Jun 15 202314:21Corbin Carroll Returns To Starting Lineup Thursday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll is back in the starting lineup Thursday afternoon against the Philadelphia Phillies. The NL Rookie of the Year front-runner got a well-earned breather on Wednesday night against a left-hander in the Phillies' Ranger Suarez but will re-enter the lineup to take on right-hander Aaron Nola Thursday afternoon. The 22-year-old has been even better than advertised in his first full MLB season, hitting .311 with 14 home runs, 19 stolen bases, and a .993 OPS across 65 appearances on the campaign. Of course, he's already among the elite fantasy baseball assets while his 3.4 fWAR is only inferior to the Braves' Ronald Acuna Jr. to this point in the season.

Wed Jun 14 202321:02Corbin Carroll Sitting Out Wednesday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll is not in the team's starting lineup on Wednesday night against the Philadelphia Phillies. Carroll will take a breather after starting the team's last 29 games. The 22-year-old has been that good this year and is the easy favorite for National League Rookie of the Year in 2023. Carroll is one of the most dynamic all-around players in the big leagues in his first full season, as he's currently hitting .313 (71-for-227) with 17 doubles, three triples, 14 home runs, 35 RBI, 19 stolen bases, 51 runs scored and a league-leading .998 OPS in 64 games. There's nothing he can't do on the diamond. With Carroll out Wednesday, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. is starting in left field and batting third against Phillies left-hander Ranger Suarez.

Sat Jun 10 202300:41Corbin Carroll Swats Two Homers In The Motor City Friday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll helped his team secure a commanding 11-6 victory over the Tigers in the Motor City Friday. The talented 22-year-old crushed two home runs, a double, and drove in five runs. In the opening inning, Carroll wasted no time as he smashed the first pitch thrown by Michael Lorenzen for a solo blast. Later in the game, he launched a grand slam off of Will Vest in the seventh inning. Carroll went a 3-for-5 in the contest. He's slashing .307/.391/.575 with 13 dingers, 32 RBI, and 18 stolen bases.

Thu Jun 1 202319:22Corbin Carroll Walks It Off Against Colorado
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll went 1-for-5 with two RBI and a strikeout in a 5-4 win over the Colorado Rockies on Thursday. Carroll was hitless in the contest until the bottom of the ninth inning when he came up clutch for the D-Backs. Arizona was facing a one-run deficit with two runners on and two out when Carroll stepped in to face Rockies closer Pierce Johnson. He then roped a single into shallow left field to score Gabriel Moreno and Ketel Marte and give the D-Backs a 5-4 victory. The 22-year-old rookie has been hot over his last 15 games, batting .309 with a 1.015 OPS. For the season, Carroll is slashing .287/.372/.511 with nine home runs, 24 RBI, and 16 stolen bases over 188 at-bats.
