His RotoBaller rank of 39 and ADP of 51 are a little separated, but both are high prices for his services.

Sun Aug 14 202219:09Randy Arozarena Goes Deep Sunday
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena went 1-for-4 in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Baltimore Orioles but delivered a big blow in the third inning with a three-run home run. It was his third home run over his past four games. Still, Arozarena only has 15 big flies with a .258/.320/.437 slash line after posting 20 homers and a .274/.356/.459 line a season ago. He's still been great on the basepaths, swiping 21 bags in 108 games. Arozarena will never be the big slugger some thought he would become but could be an annual 20-20 player, and he's giving fantasy managers plenty of value this season as a must-start.

Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena is not in the starting lineup on Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays. Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena is not in the starting lineup on Sunday in the series finale against the New York Yankees. Arozarena is getting a day of rest despite heating up at the plate of late. The 27-year-old has gone 13-for-32 (.406 average) with two home runs, seven RBI and a stolen base in eight games since May 20 to raise his season line to .259/.305/.408 with four home runs, 19 RBI, 21 runs scored and four stolen bases in 187 plate appearances. With Arozarena sitting, Manuel Margot is in left field and is batting fifth, while Brett Phillips gets the nod in right field while hitting seventh against Yankees right-hander Luis Severino. Margot has been hot with the bat this year and should garner some DFS appeal.

Sun May 22 202200:44Randy Arozarena Rips Two Dingers Saturday
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena slugged a pair of home runs on Saturday night as his club defeated the Orioles 6-1. The 27-year-old victimized O's starter Kyle Bradish in the first and then again in the fourth as he finished the evening going 2-for-3 with a walk and three RBI. After not hitting a long ball all year until May 9, Arozarena now has four on the campaign to go along with 19 runs, 15 RBI, six steals, and a .253/.302/.413 slash line through 39 games played. He looks to have put the slow start behind him as managers should expect him to deliver solid power/speed numbers yet again by season's end.

Wed May 18 202214:15Randy Arozarena Looking Better In May
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena has been among the more disappointing players for fantasy managers to start the season, but there have been some signs of improvement in the month of May. In 17 games since the calendar turned, Arozarena is slashing a decent .274/.313/.468 with two home runs and three steals. He's also been caught stealing three times, which is bad news for fantasy managers in Net Steals formats, however. Arozarena will always be a streaky player with his free-swinging ways, but as long as he's on track for double-digit homers and steals, he'll have a place on fantasy rosters in all formats.

Fri May 6 202221:13Randy Arozarena Dealing With Knee Soreness
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena will serve as his team's DH against the Oakland A's on Friday. Arozarena was originally slated to play the field in the initial lineup but he is dealing with some left knee soreness. While the 27-year-old apparently isn't 100%, it does not appear that the knee issue will keep him out of action for now. Arozarena is off to a slow start, hitting just .204 with no homers, 10 runs, six RBI, and four steals. While he's playing Friday, fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on his knee issue going forward.

Fri Apr 22 202213:31Randy Arozarena Looking To Get Going In 2022
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena is still waiting for his first hot stretch of 2022, but there have been some promising signs in the last few days. While he's slashing just .240/.255/.360 over his first 51 plate appearances this season, he's reached base at least twice in two of his last four games, with five runs scored in that period. With just one walk on the season and no history of patience at the plate, streaks will be inevitable, but better fantasy days should be coming for Arozarena.

Sat Apr 2 202222:52Randy Arozarena Doubles Saturday
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena went 1-for-3 with a double in an 8-2 loss to the Minnesota Twins in Grapefruit League action on Saturday. Arozarena is having an excellent spring, hitting .455 with three runs and four RBI across 22 at-bats. After making a name for himself in the 2020 postseason, the 27-year-old has quickly established himself as one of the top all-around hitters in the American League. Arozarena put together a 20-20 season for the Rays in 2021 and he still has room to improve. Fantasy gamers can select Arozarena as a top-12 outfielder in mixed fantasy drafts for 2022.
