ATLANTA (AP) — Newly acquired relievers Brandon Workman, Heath Hembree and David Hale were active for Philadelphia's game against the Atlanta Braves on Saturday night.The Phillies added the three right-handers, acquired in trades on Friday, to their 28-man roster as part of a flurry of moves.The Phillies acquired Workman and Hembree from the Boston Red Sox in exchange for right-handers Nick Pivetta and Connor Seabold. Hale was obtained from the New York Yankees in a deal for minor league right-hander Addison Russ.Workman, who had four saves in four opportunities with the Red Sox, said he was told of the trade during the third inning of Boston's game at Baltimore on Friday night.“I was on my way down to the bullpen,” Workman said Saturday. “The dugout called me out to tell me I had been traded.”Workman said he had heard speculation about a possible trade.
