Thu Apr 1123:05Jacob Gilyard Listed As Probable For Friday
Brooklyn Nets guard Jacob Gilyard (hip) is considered probable for Friday's match-up against the New York Knicks. He has been bothered by a left hip contusion recently, but he should be able to suit up for this game. The 25-year-old was available for Wednesday's contest against the Toronto Raptors but never saw a minute of playing time. The last time Gilyard stepped onto the court was on March 27, only playing four minutes in that contest. He is not a consistent part of Brooklyn's rotation, so not much can be expected from him to close out the regular season.

Wed Nov 22 202320:18Jacob Gilyard Moves Into Starting Five
Memphis Grizzlies guard Jacob Gilyard will get the starting nod during Wednesday's game against the Houston Rockets. The young guard will move back into the starting unit after coming off the bench during their last game. As a result, John Konchar will come off the bench on Wednesday, which will mean decreased fantasy value for him. A move to the starting unit should give Gilyard a bump in fantasy value. However, he hasn't been a reliable scorer this season, so fantasy managers can probably find better production elsewhere.

Thu Jul 6 202310:05Jacob Gilyard Sets Record With Seven Steals
Memphis Grizzlies point guard Jacob Gilyard played an outstanding defensive game in Wednesday's Summer League clash against the Thunder, registering seven steals in 29 minutes of action. This marks a new Salt Lake City Summer League record for most steals in a single game. Gilyard added 10 points, four rebounds, and six assists to his tally with 3-for-4 shooting from deep. The former Richmond Spider is the NCAA's all-time leader in steals and Gilyard's defensive ability can definitely be an asset for an NBA team, but at five-foot-nine, he's very short even for a guard and this makes it hard for him to earn a regular role in the league.
