Sat Jan 12 201322:28Will Bynum shoots 6-of-6 in Pistons' loss
Will Bynum made all six of his field goals on Saturday, finishing a tough loss to the Jazz with 13 points, four assists and three steals.
The sparkplug guard gave the Pistons' offense a jolt, and as a team they shot 52 percent from the field, but they were undone by 17 turnovers and 13-of-21 shooting at the FT line. Bynum did his damage in just 19 minutes and he won't often be this efficient, to put it mildly.

Will Bynum hit 3-of-6 shots for 15 points, two rebounds, four assists, a steal and a 3-pointer in 21 minutes on Tuesday.
Bynum has been playing heavy minutes and scoring points over his last four games, but will take a hit once Rodney Stuckey is back from his ankle injury.

Sun Dec 30 201223:03Will Bynum cools off w/ just eight points
Will Bynum cooled off with eight points, five assists and five turnovers in 24 minutes on Sunday.
Rodney Stuckey was out again, so the door was wide open, but Bynum played at a more realistic pace tonight after averaging 28.0 ppg in the past two games. With Stuckey day-to-day, and this quiet game in the foreground, it's hard to have faith in Bynum for the upcoming week.

Sat Dec 29 201201:41Will Bynum scores 25 points with 10 assists
Will Bynum scored 25 points with a season-high 10 assists in Friday's win over the Heat.
Bynum added two rebounds and a steal to go with three 3-pointers on 10-of-16 shooting overall in his 28 minutes off the bench. He scored 31 points in a big effort his last time out, and has a history of short-term explosions followed by periods of dormancy. It also didn't hurt that Rodney Stuckey (ankle) was out, so owners still need to add Bynum at their own risk.

Wed Dec 26 201223:33Will Bynum scores season-high 31 points
Will Bynum came off the Pistons' bench and caught fire late, finishing a double-overtime loss with a season-high 31 points, four rebounds, four assists, a steal and four 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
Lawrence Frank cleared his bench with the Pistons down 81-62 after the third quarter and his reserves led a furious comeback to force overtime. Bynum was spectacular tonight and Rodney Stuckey suffered a sprained ankle, but it remains to be seen if tonight's performance has earned him extra minutes. Bynum had scored a total of 19 points in December before tonight's explosion, and Stuckey was able to return from his ankle injury (which was a surprise). Just keep an eye on Bynum going forward, as this looks more like a fluke than anything else.

Fri Nov 23 201207:28Players questioning Lawrence Frank's rotation
Some Pistons players have started to question Lawrence Frank's substitution patterns.
"I'm having to adjust to everybody," said Will Bynum. "I'm playing with so many different people. First I go from not playing with (Rodney) Stuckey to playing with Stuckey every day." Tayshaun Prince added, ""That isn't my decision, but we need to figure out some things to do when teams are making runs to get us a good opportunity at the rim or the foul line." It's not a good sign that players are questioning their head coach this early in the season.

Thu Oct 18 201209:12Will Bynum worked on defense in offseason
Will Bynum "picked the brain" of Tony Allen to improve his defense in the offseason.
After dealing with a foot injury that really limited him last season, Bynum improved his D on the advice of Lawrence Frank. Bynum also shot a career-worst 38.1 percent from the field last season, but he's entering this season healthy and should be in line for a bounce back season. Regardless, he's still not a fantasy asset.

Thu Sep 13 201211:05Will Bynum adds weights, Pilates to offseason
Will Bynum added weightlifting and Pilates to his offseason regimen to prepare for the 2012-13 season.
Bynum admitted that he let his "situation" impact how he played, and now he's looking to bounce back in the coming year. Although he's a candidate to be dealt with his $3.5 million expiring contract, he is highly unlikely to become a fantasy asset regardless of where he lands.

Sat Apr 7 201200:07Bynum scores 15 points off the bench
Will Bynum scored 15 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 7-of-12 shots (including a three) with four rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one block in 26 minutes.
Owners should just watch Bynum for now, but the real concern here is the full workload for Brandon Knight. Knight has been playing very tentatively and it has opened the window for Bynum, or at least it did tonight.

Sat Mar 31 201223:56Will Bynum scores 17 points off DET bench
Pistons guard Will Bynum scored 17 points against the Bobcats on Saturday, making 5-of-9 FGs (one 3-pointer) and 6-of-9 FTs.
Bynum added two rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes, but here are two reasons you should ignore this outburst: 1) he's averaging 5.0 points this season, and 2) he only played this much due to the absence of Ben Gordon (groin) and Rodney Stuckey (hamstring), both of whom are day-to-day.

Sat Mar 31 201201:56Bynum misses all eight shots vs. Bulls
Will Bynum missed all eight of his field goal attempts on Friday against the Bulls.
Bynum played 12 minutes and had just three rebounds to his credit. There was some question about whether or not he could step into the void created by Ben Gordon and Rodney Stuckey, and that was answered tonight.

Will Bynum (virus) will not play in Saturday's game vs. New York.

Will Bynum (foot) plans to play on Wednesday.
After practicing on Monday, Bynum is ready to return to the lineup. He hasn't played since January 13 and will be eased back into the rotation. We're not expecting a sudden outburst with Brandon Knight, Rodney Stuckey and Ben Gordon all vying for minutes.

Will Bynum (foot) practiced on Monday.
Bynum has been healthy for a few days now but doesn't appear close to the rotation. With Ben Gordon (shoulder) also practicing Monday, Bynum is even further away from a meaningful role.

Sat Feb 4 201202:06Bynum was active, but did not play on Friday
Will Bynum (foot) was active on Friday but did not play due to coach's decision.
We're pulling him from the injury list, but the instant-offense he provides has a deep league ceiling so there's not much to get excited about.

Fri Feb 3 201212:13Will Bynum upgraded to game-time call Friday
Will Bynum (foot) is a game-time decision on Friday.
Bynum has been out since January 15 with the foot injury, and he's improved to the point where he's just about ready to get back onto the court. We're not expecting a major role for him immediately upon his return, but keep an eye on his playing time over the next few games to see what type of role he'll earn under Lawrence Frank. He had played three games where he logged at least 24 minutes of time just prior to getting hurt.
